I agree with the article. Shahrukh Khan is an exception. Most of TV stars don't make it in movies. Its not because of lack of talent, look at Ram. No one will doubt about that. But I think movie is different ball game.
Rajeev khandewl may be right to some extent but see Gracy Singh. Her debut film was main role opposite Aamir in a commercially sucessful, critically aclaimed ilm Lagaan. She had prominent role & was noticed for it too. Then she got good movies like Munnabhai MBBS & Armaan in which again she played main female lead. Still she is now no where. There are many such examples.
I don't think Prachi's role is Rockon is that prominenet, in abbas Muskan film I doubt female leads are noticed for their talent & won't like to seen Prachi used for anything else. Especially apprehensive after watching race & knowing she is to replace Vipasha.
BUt still I hope Prachi succeeds in bollywood.
To be honest, its all a matter of destiny. Possibly Shah Rukh came at a time when Bollywood was looking for a change. He was already 26 when he made his debut. But, I guess, destiny favoured him. Lots of people work hard, have talent, but need that extra bit of help from destiny.
