I think that the one trying to murder Milind is Pranay (Neev's dad).
My reasons:
1. He murdered Inder.
2. He's not been caught.
3. Ranvir's said to be a positive character.
However there are a few potholes such as why did he shoot and attemp to kill his own son? and why reintroduce him in the show now? Maybe they've finally realised that there was an unfinished storyline.
