Family bonding, soon at a theatre near you!
The Bachchans seem to have started a very unusual trend of working with family members.
The trend seems to be catching on and recently even Aamir Khan has gone for the same option.
After making successful movies like 'Taare Zameen Par' and 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na', Aamir is now concentrating more on making movies rather than acting.
He also launched his nephew Imran Khan in his latest production. Imran has received rave reviews for his performance and according to the critics, he has a promising future.
Not that anybody cares what these critics say!
However mamu Aamir Khan has decided to cash in on his nephew's new found popularity. He's all set to rope in Imran in his next production as well.
Of course when you have an uncle like Aamir, things do tend to be easier.
I would like to remind you that in spite of all the backing and the pushing, Harman Baweja couldn't make an impact in the public eye.
Now, that's the power of brand Aamir Khan!
Aamir Khan's next production with Imran is called 'Delhi Belly'.
And it's not just Imran, even mamu Aamir Khan will act in the movie. Aamir is supposed to play a negative character in the movie.
Oh, so he doesn't have any qualms about giving up the leading role!
This guy sure loves his nephew a lot.
'Delhi Belly' will go on floors from August and the cast is in the process of being finalised.
Ranbir Kapoor was the one who was originally approached for the main lead and he had also agreed to do the role.
But due to some issues Ranbir backed out and Aamir was looking out for another fresh face. Then he realised that the home-grown hero would be a much better option!
Aamir is very confident and he feels that Imran can do the role better than anybody else.
Blinded by nephew love, huh Aamir?
It is also believed that this time Aamir has roped in a Swedish guy to direct the movie. He met the guy who is a director during the filming of 'Taare Zameen Par' and was extremely impressed by his work.
'Delhi Belly' is an action-sex comedy set in New Delhi.
Looks like Aamir's hell bent on creating a formidable uncle-nephew team.
