Do winners get Prize money as promised?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if these reality show money / prize is delievered to winners as announced?

I had read somewhere that Abhijit did not get his money for more than a year after Indian Idol. Same was the case with Debojit. I do not know about others though.

I think they announce the prize but they never deliver in time. Is not there any regulation?

There are so many promises made on show but we do not know what happens then.

Shahid was promised a great career and he was also told by Jatin that he will sell his flat. Ismail darbar was to make him sing with Lata Mangeshkar.

Farah Khan has promised couple people when she came for OSO promotion.

Himesh was to give song to Nihira.

There is a long list like this, if we start seeing those tapes again. They should be regulated and supported legally. Otherwise it is just a fraud with contestants and exploitation.

yupp they shudd be gettingg their prize otherwizee whyy wudd the star plus ppl say a big lie i dunt think their that stupid....
It is just not star. Sony for sure delayed Abhijeet Sawant's prize, since it was published in news papers.

I know It took Zee long time b4 they gave Debojit the flat and money he was supposed to get. Singers from C-05 & C-07 signed 2 yrs contract and they had to do various shows.
