A new dance-based reality show will take the saas-bahu war to new heights

If you still haven't had enough of saas-bahu dramas, the dance-based reality show Saas Vs Bahu is tailor-made for you.

The eternal war between saas and bahus on the small screen will not only be limited to daily soaps but has now extended to a new reality show.

The show, Saas Vs Bahu is produced by Siddarth Tewari and Vikas Seth of Amber Dhara and Mata Ki Chowky fame. It will feature all the saas and bahus of popular soaps and will go on air next month on Sahara One Motion Pictures.

Siddarth Tewari says, "We were in talks with Sahara for a long time for a non-fiction show. We are already doing Mata Ki Chowky with them. That's when we discussed this idea of a reality show titled Saas Vs Bahu as the theme is so popular on Indian television right now.

We presented the concept to the channel and they loved it. But, it was not an easy show to make as getting all the combination dates of each and every saas-bahu pair together was quite a task. However, the excitement of presenting something of this magnitude was the driving force behind us executing the show successfully."

"It will be a dance reality show based on the simple idea where all the mothers-in-law will be pitted against their twinkle-toed bahus. We have 15 mothers-in-law and 15 bahus as participants on the show and we also have about 100 other stars.

It is a grand show with a unique format. I would not like to reveal anything more about the format right now. All I can say is it will have some great content as we never wanted to make anything that is run of the mill," adds Tewari.
