Prachi Desai starts shooting for Life Partner

Remember Bani Walia of Kasamh Se? Well it seems Prachi Desai has immersed herself deep into Bollywood. Awaiting the release of her debut movie with Farhan Akhtar, Rock On, the actress has already begun work on her next film – Rumi Jaffrey's Life Partner.

"Yes I have started shooting for Life Partner. I am working opposite Tushaar Kapoor in this film. The role is very different from my role in Rock On. This film deals with relationships, love and mindless humour."

"I would like say that the script is the gem and I'm excited to shoot with actors like Tushaar Kapoor, Govinda and Fardeen Khan. The shooting started in the mid-June but currently only my part and Tushaar's is being filmed. Next month Genelia -Fardeen will start the shooting. It's a great fun working with Tushaar and now I'm eagerly waiting to work with Govinda," adds Prachi.

Speaking about her debut film, the actress says, "I'm waiting for the film to release as I just want to see and know how my fans are reacting to my acting in this film. I feel really blessed for all the support that I'm receiving from every where. Ekta Kapoor has always supported me and she also liked my promos of Rock On…and so now I'm just waiting for the film to release."

And has she watched Kasamh Se since she left?

"Whenever I get time from my shoot I watch Kasamh Se and I have liked Gurdeep's acting in the serial. Let's see I may enter next year as Bani…," hints the actress.
