Gift of Giving: A Creative Writing Contest

Hello Forumites! Let us celebrate the power of words as a GIFT.

Every poem, story, or expression, even if it is only a few lines, where creativity meets friendly affection and the spirit of gifting finds voice through writing.

We invite all members to participate and share their words, turning creativity into a great gesture of gifting.

The heart of this contest is the GIFT of Giving. The Gift of Giving unites communities. Inviting all writers, poets, and enthusiasts who believe that creativity fosters affinity and strengthens friendships through the power of words.

Contest is open to all IF members.

The title of your entry is optional and will not be included in the word count.

Only English language to be used. (However, a few Hindi or other language words are admissible)
Your fiction/ poem must contain some Gifting element in it. Keep content respectful and aligned with the spirit of giving

A story must have at least 150 words, and each poem must have

at least 40–50 words.

Original work only (no plagiarism)Your submissions may include poetry, short prose, or reflective thoughts

Let your words be a GIFT—share, connect, and give through creativity.

Submit 3 GIFTS (3 entries, GIFT themed) to your selected friend, or to any serial character, or to a fictional character.

You have to submit your entries through PM to Sutapasima on or before 30th Jan 2026, 11.59 PM IST, titled as --- Gift Of Giving Contest

Please keep in mind about the new Fan Fiction guidelines and IF COC.

Any promotion of your entry, on IF, via PMs, or on social media...will lead to disqualification.
