Lyric writers, dialogue writers, script writers, choreographers, music directors, writers, photographers, actors, ad film makers, critics and now even dress designers too all turning to directing movies! What is it that intrigues them to leave the field that gave them fame, money and a position to reckon for? All this for something that's new/unknown? Why do they take the risk of inviting criticism? What is so exciting about directing that isn't there in own field or related fields? Even the good looking ones amongst these don't think of coming in front of the camera and prefer behind the scene work. Do they believe its a better way to connect with masses or is a cultivated/acquired dream?
