But I also wonder sometimes.. These people that go ahead with such surgeries.. Isnt it agaist religion to do so? Going againtst the way god has made you? They say they're religious and they have full faith in God.. Then why would they want to destroy something that the creator has made by changing it?

Well in most cases it is not that they are made that way by God, some mishap that happened to them in their childhood made them that way. And I dont think religion comes into the picture here anyways, as no religion says u dont have the right to be happy by changing few things in u...as long as ur karma is good and u dont do bad deeds that hurt others, anything u do to keep urself/others happy is right 😊.

Well religion is a different matter here. The point is whether by going under the knife we are playing with genetics and nature...

If we look the way we do then maybe it was meant to be that way. If wild animals get scars whilst fighting for food then they don't go to their local surgeon. I think sometimes science takes a step too far. However, these people live with this every day and whether they should be able to put up with something that is not their fault is another whole debate within itself. I feel that their needs to be a balance in surgery. Surgery should only be available to those who have facial deformities. Those trying to shed some pounds or getting other bodily shapes re-done are playing with nature and should be stopped.

Magnificent.
