more taxing for rich people?

hi, for all of us in the U.S know that the goverment tax varies on how much u make in a year, if you are poor the tax can be as low as 10 percent, and if you are rich u can be taxed upto 44 percent by the government. So what do u think? should everyone be taxed the same? or should rich people have to pay more because they are wealthier?

its not crazy; its progressive taxation. 😆

besides, i think its better to pay taxes according to your income rather than to pay a flat tax or a regressive tax (where you have to pay more if you earn less).

if you belong to the lower income end of the spectrum, you can't afford to pay a flat rate or a regressive tax!

I also think that it's good....... if you are rich then you should pay more tax... Tax should be about income how much each can pay not that eveyrone should have the same tax.

You need to fulfill the basic needs first before giving a tax so it shouldn't be same for everyone instead depend on the income!

y hi think this is right. brecause then if your poor you won't be able to afford it.
people may argue that you got rich by making a lot foeffort so it's your right to keep it aswell. like effort wasted,

Although is sounds more fair to have everyone pay the same amount of tax each year, it will only make matters worse. The reason for this is because if rich people pay the same amount of tax as poor people, the rich will only get richer cause they are only pay a flat rate and in the end will make more profit.

If rich people pay more taxes then the poor then their spending will also be limited and almost as equal to middle-class people.
