Sanju versus Sanju in January? By Taran Adarsh, November 15, 2005 - 23:16 IST There's a strong possibility that two Sanjay Dutt starrers will clash in one week. The films in question, ZINDA and TATHASTU, are both scheduled for release on Thursday, January 12, 2006. While the release date of ZINDA was announced last week [it was shifted from December 23, 2005 to January 12, 2006], the makers of TATHASTU haven't officially announced the date yet.
"But we're looking at a January 12 release," TATHASTU director Anubhav Sinha informs me, "Barring a qawwali that needs to be filmed, we've already wrapped the shooting of the film." With ZINDA also scheduled for January 12, is it advisable to bring in one more Sanjay Dutt starrer on this date? "Well, Nitin Manmohan [the producer] will have to take a call on that," Anubhav adds.
Incidentally, Nitin Manmohan is involved with both the films. While Nitin is the producer of TATHASTU, Nitin also happens to be the presenter of ZINDA
