About her comment regarding Gauri..., I am sure they are acquaintances since they are part of the same circle. From what I know, Gauri rejected the article due to reasons known to her only. So there is no choice of Anita bagging the role over Gauri because Gauri was Ekta's first choice 😳

Gauri was offered the role and Hiten the role of Arjun; they were offered the lead. But they refused. Why they refused is their own reasons, but it is confirmed 100% that Gauri and Hiten were offered lead roles, but they did refuse.

And indya.com's reports are always see-sawing. One article stated that Gauri got the role because she has proven herself whereas Anita hasn't. In another article they are stating she didn't get the role. I really don't ever count on indya.com's articles.
