Hope he becomes our men's single player at bigger events..we dont have anybody ..
What I feel is, some of the team members never played outside India (or Indian subcontinent). SENA pitches are completely different from Indian subcontinent pitches. New players need some time to get used to them. It was widely mentioned even before the Ireland series has started.It was quite a disaster series for India. I hope they do something good with the One day series though.
Somewhere it felt like they were over-confident and under-prepared for the series.
Our new players did not face SENA players in their own backyards either. Everything will fall in place in time.
Coming to Ireland series, the player of the Ireland series is an Indian (he still holds an Indian passport). He made all the difference. He got used to the Ireland pitches. He grew up watching our players and matches. Our players never seen him play nor played with him before.
