Is Cocktail 2 struggling at the BO? It went down after good start: BOI - Page 2

We also have to look at how far a movie can go depending on its genre!

In India, would a Cocktail 2 really reach heartland India, the massy belts, the single screens?

I personally believe that a movie in the Cocktail 2 zone is a multiplex 5 city movie with a lifetime box office range of 70-100cr net in India, which it has done. So in my personal view, it has done well according to its reach in terms of target audience but yes, not done well enough to recover its costs theatrically!

You mentioned MVA, look at the start of that and then word of mouth grew and will probably finish at 50-55. Thats also successful.

MWA is now eyeing 90-100cr WW gross..which makes it a success which no one would have thought with the way it started

I agree..cocktail 2 has done well which an urban rom-com would dream of doing in todays time..the only draw back is that is is a 150cr budget movie

I don't believe that cocktail 2 is a 150 crore project. Often sites reports about the budget and people trust it but honestly except for the team noone knows actual budget. They will not reveal in public unless they want to reveal it in public.

Cocktail 2 expensive part is Sicily otherwise all look average to me. Even actors fee depends on that project except for ML will be slight edge but shahid charging these much as reported is absurd noone will reveal their salary in any fields unless they want to. The budget of Cocktail 2 is exaggerate

I don't understand how Main vaapas aunga is a hit, it is so boring, it makes you cry at the end but nothing beyond that....

But she was the best part of the movie

and aisa nae hai ke movie nae chali..it is a success still..most likely an average /semi hit

i am curios why is boi reporting 15cr less?
