What serial are we watching these days friends?
Ye Kyunki toh Lagta hi nahi
I genuinely feel Tulsi was completely wrong in slapping Parth. That scene just didn't sit right with me. In fact.... I found Nandini's questions far more sensible. She rightly pointed out that Tulsi reacted impulsively simply because Parth is a man raising doubts about a woman without even trying to understand what insecurities or circumstances led him to that point.
I honestly cant completely blame Parth today. The situation around him was enough to make anyone question what they were seeing. Its no secret that Parth has never liked Reyansh. At the same time Vaishnavi is in love with Parth and is about to marry him. For Vaishnavi - given that context wouldn't the more sensible approach have been to maintain some boundaries with Reyansh?
I am not saying she should have ignored him or behaved rudely. A normal "hi-hello" relationship would have been perfectly fine. Her intentions may have been completely innocent but when your fiance already dislikes someone, and that same person and his father, his appearance has a questionable history involving your future mother in law, maintaining a respectful distance would have avoided unnecessary misunderstandings.
That said Parth wasnt flawless either. Instead of creating a huge scene and shouting in front of everyone he could have simply ended the relationship if he genuinely felt he couldnt trust Vaishnavi. The public drama and constant accusations only made things uglier.
Now coming back to Tulsi - what disappointed me even more was her refusal to even hear Parth out. It was Damini herself who revealed that Vaishnavi had messaged Nakul. If that fact was being brought up shouldnt Tulsi at least have paused and listened before reacting? She could have heard what Parth was actually trying to say instead of instantly slapping him because she assumed he was character assassinating a girl.
Protecting someone's dignity is one thing but refusing to even listen to your own grandson is another. That wasnt justice it felt like blind bias.
And this isnt the first time. Even in Season 1, after Ansh entered the story, Tulsi became obsessed with him and ended up being partial, often sidelining Karan. After Ansh's death, the favoritism simply shifted to Karan where she ignored Gautam. In Season 2, history seems to be repeating itself. This time she is completely blinded by her affection for Reyansh - her "Ansh ka Ansh" ....to the point where logic seems to have taken a back seat. Perhaps thatz one of the reasons the show is struggling today.
Casting a 51 year old actor to play someone in his mid 20's who spends his time getting involved in kitchen politics and fueling saas bahu drama already stretches believability. Ever since Reyansh entered the narrative the writing has become increasingly messy and directionless. And if the makers are planning to repeat the old KT - Ekalavya style track through Reyansh and Vaishnavi, it would be even more disappointing. Watching a 51 year old man romantically paired with a girl nearly half his age isnt progressive or compelling...it simply feels uncomfortable and unnecessary. How can makers miss this simple logic...it will be disgusting to watch Reyansh with Vaishnavi.
At this point the show doesnt need more manufactured drama. It needs balanced writing, consistent character development and situations where every side is heard before judgment is passed. Thatz what made the earlier versions memorable and that is exactly whatz missing now.

💯 agree.
Tulsi is behaving insane. Slapping Parth infront of Rio n Vaishnvi is definitely gonna harm his image, Parth is a sanskari pota according to her, suddenly she is not believing him. Atleast, she should have believed Damini.
Karan n Gomzi's fight looks annoying, baseless, immature. 🙄🙄
Nandini has also lost it, sab pagal ho gaye hai.... in sn!
They should rename it pagal khanna!!
💯 agree.

The biggest issue for me wasnt even Parth's outburst......it was how illogically everyone else reacted.
When Damini claimed that Vaishnavi had been texting Nakul, shouldnt the first natural response have been, "How do you know that?" or "Show us the proof"? Any sensible person would have immediately asked to see the messages or requested Nakul to produce evidence. Instead everyone jumped to conclusions.
Vaishnavi did deny the allegations when Parth accused her and thatz understandable. But once Damini and Nandini specifically brought up the messages she should have calmly asked for proof herself instead of simply repeating that she hadnt done anything wrong.
The most surprising part was Tulsi's reaction. She has always been portrayed as someone who stands for truth and fairness yet she didnt even pause to verify the facts. Rather than asking for evidence or hearing both sides she slapped Parth immediately. That felt completely out of character.
As for Parth.... I genuinely dont know if I can entirely blame him for his insecurities. If this had involved any random man, perhaps he wouldnt have reacted so strongly. But this was Reyansh.......a person he has openly disliked from the beginning. Given that context I personally feel Vaishnavi should have maintained some boundaries. I am not suggesting she should have ignored Reyansh or been rude to him but a little distance would have been appropriate considering her fiance's discomfort. Celebrating her birthday with Reyansh or allowing him to click her pictures didnt seem like wise decisions especially after repeatedly assuring Parth that she wouldnt let Reyansh come between their relationship.
This isnt about blaming Vaishnavi because she is a woman. I would say exactly the same if the roles were reversed.
Imagine Parth being very close to a woman whom Vaishnavi disliked. Imagine he was seen in compromising situations with her or was secretly messaging Vaishnavi's sister. Would Vaishnavi have calmly ignored everything? Most likely not. She would naturally have questions and insecurities too.
Trust is essential in any relationship but trust also comes with responsibility. When you know another person's presence is creating tension between you and your partner, maintaining healthy boundaries becomes equally important. Unfortunately Vaishnavi never seemed to do that.
At the same time, today's drama was excessive from every angle.
Ironically, even in the precap, I dont completely blame Nandini for slapping Damini. If someone were to taunt Damini by saying, "You are the one who jumped from one brother to another....you married Gautam despite loving Karan and were even willing to ruin Gautam's life by having an extramarital affair with Karan," would she quietly accept such insults? Of course not. So provoking someone and then acting shocked at the reaction doesnt make much sense either.
At this point almost every character in Shanti Niketan seems to have turned into a caricature of themselves. The story no longer has a clear direction or emotional depth. Instead of meaningful family drama with strong values and balanced perspectives it has become endless kitchen politics, OTT confrontations, and forced conflicts.
The show desperately needs grounded writing where characters communicate, seek evidence before passing judgment and behave in ways consistent with their personalities. Drama is engaging only when it feels believable otherwise it becomes noise without substance.
I’m not sure how coherent my framing of this post might be but I hope the content makes sense. It’s probably because I’m trying to find the right words to describe what I want but I’m not sure if I could do it, but here goes nothing.
The premise explored today interesting to say the least. I understand that questions about a girl’s character are considered very rude, tacky and insensitive but it’s not like there aren’t cases happening as we speak these days wherein men are indeed victims of fake cases, infidelity and even murder.
I’m not trivialising the suffering of women but the fact remains that one truth doesn’t cancel out the other.
Today Nandini was interestingly standing by her son, while Tulsi for all intents was siding with an outsider; though she has known the girl for many a years but her first priority and loyalty is owed to Parth is the baseline expectation from her considering Parth is family, her own grandson. I noticed how Rio was scowling when Nandini accused and taunted Tulsi for doing this - pretty sure in his head he felt that this is exactly what Tulsi should have done when it was the case between you and my dad. She should’ve picked him over you, “the outsider”. Pretty sure he was itching to throw it at Nandini but stayed mum for the long game.
I found Karan’s reaction interesting today when instead of jumping the gun he asked his son - is this what you call love? Karan didn’t blame Vaishnavi but rather chose to question his son’s trust over the girl he claimed to love enough to want to marry her.
Nandini said how questions must be raised before marriage itself so that the bonds of matrimony may last - which while a valid point in and of itself is also the point of no return between a couple. Because the moment doubts enter the mind regarding your partner’s fidelity, it’s already over. If a doubt has arisen, there’s a reason for it that’s perhaps justified, perhaps not… but doubt is a seed that sprouts no matter what once its planted. People start seeing patterns where none exist or they may connect dots where there are none. A doubt may arise for A when it comes to your mind, but they won’t stop there necessarily even if your partner is not guilty because your mind may then turn to B, C… so on and so forth.
In a way, this relationship was doomed before it began truly the moment Parth had doubts in his mind regarding Vaishnavi. Had they gotten married, Parth would’ve had to see Vaishnavi interacting with Rio on a daily basis as well as Nakul and other cousins of his. He would’ve never stopped thinking of things in a certain light, not once his mind had already begun moving in that direction.
Technically, Rio saw Parth has problems with him; and decided to make it his weapon against Parth himself. Tulsi succinctly stated a few days ago to Vaishnavi - he’s been exposed to a lot of things about his mother’s past that’s badly affected him, he’s just not used to sharing his father’s love with another son nor having any sort of contender in the family truly given that up until now Nakul and Mayank stayed away, Dev was lazy as heck and while Angad and Hrithik are close to his age, they’re uncles and so despite the age they aren’t really seen the same way as say Dev and Rio. Rio exploited Parth’s obvious and blatant dislike towards him and created the boogeyman of infidelity in Parth’s mind where Vaishnavi was going to suffer regardless.
Interestingly, Karan had a moment where he felt that this whole thing didn’t feel right and like it was being orchestrated but he’s yet to doubt Rio. I wonder if this is a one off thing or will he be the one who discovers Rio is the one behind all these messes.
This show should be renamed as "Kyunki Kalesh is all we know".
Apart from that love the new banner and seeing
MunRik
on there makes me so happy 😀. I wish they bring MunRik back on the main show. I cannot stand them being background for Vridang, it's an insult to what they have established as a couple.

At the same time, today's drama was excessive from every angle.
- Parth should never have created such a public spectacle or resorted to shouting.
- Vaishnavi should have established clearer boundaries with Reyansh much earlier.
- Tulsi should have demanded proof before slapping her own grandson instead of acting emotionally.
- Nandini, despite often being obnoxious, actually raised valid and logical questions today. However, threatening Tulsi with an apology or saying she would leave the house if it didn't happen was unnecessary. If she truly believed she was right, she could have simply walked away.
- Karan and Gautam are supposed to be mature men in their late forties or early fifties, yet watching them behave like quarrelling children over every issue is becoming increasingly immature and repetitive.
Ironically, even in the precap, I dont completely blame Nandini for slapping Damini. Yesterday, in one of the scenes, Parth haa confronted Vaishnvi at her home asking for clarification - why she sent her pics to Nakul??.
She clearly said she didn't, then Parth went home.
He did ask her privately, but in anger he blurted that out today publicly.
Looks like some chaos created by Damini along with Rio.
Evidence and investigation Virani's ke dictionary me nhi hai😂.
Ekta ke serial me, The leads do not have boundaries, they will hug, be close by,don't maintain physical distance, we have seen this in case of Mihir too 🙄, inko apna rishta priority nhi hota hai, but dusra wala/i kitna accha hai yhi matter karta hai. So they will end up in trouble.
Parth dislikes Rio, he said Vaishnvi not to mention his name too, he is possessive but not toxic, itna to Vaishnavi ko samjh me aani chahiye.
Her today's bhaad me jaaye ye sagayi is also spoken with much ego. I understand she is hurt, if so then Parth too.
Yup none of them are sitting and trying to understand the sequence of events. Kisi ko kuch padi nhi hai.
Normally, in any sanskari family, if such issues arise, they try to create some distance, like sending the couple to some other city to live separately. But BT creatives mind is gutter🙄🙄.
Nandini's dialogues this season ade not upto the mark, lacks depth.
This is forced storyline has nothing... 😡🙄
