I highly doubt Mihir is exposing Rio or the groom swap is happening. We already had a hint that Parth will find another girl a few days ago in a scene between Parth and Vaishnavi as well.

What I don’t understand is how does marrying Vaishnavi accomplish any revenge? Why go after Parth beyond wanting to hurt Nandini? Parth isn’t even her son biologically!

But, Parth is Karan’s biological son.. & Nandini really cares for Parth despite not her biological son.. so that’s why Rio is doing it..

But that’s not the same as Ansh doing what he did for lust and nothing else. Karan believed his mom was wronged by his dad and his dad never bothered to tell him the truth and chose to not own him as a son. He can never be seen as evil for what he did because his cause was not evil in intent.

Unlike Gautam who chose to go after Damini to take revenge on Mandira allegedly killing Teesha and his unborn child, in an accident where she too apparently died. Karan wasn’t even aware of anything and he too had been grieving over his dead mother but Gautam thought this is revenge. If anything, it makes Gautam look bad not Karan. He never went after an innocent woman no matter what he did to ruin her life for revenge or any other reason.

How can a son who believes his mom was used by his dad, while she’s mentally unstable be evil? Mihir had more onus in his response to Mandira than she did. He felt she was not sound of mind but decided to sleep with her anyways? This backfires on Mihir and Gautam more than Karan any day.

And for a father whom he has never seen in his life. The only justification can be that Rio is a psycho character who enjoys inflicting pain to others regardless of who that person is
