So according to the canon of this season. First Nandani married Karan then Karan married Tanya and Nandani married Ansh. Later after Ansh Karan Nandani reunited (she doesn't clarify what happened to Tanya)

So I guess this time they are either avoiding bigamy or saying both of them did bigamy..

I highly doubt Mihir is exposing Rio or the groom swap is happening. We already had a hint that Parth will find another girl a few days ago in a scene between Parth and Vaishnavi as well.

What I don’t understand is how does marrying Vaishnavi accomplish any revenge? Why go after Parth beyond wanting to hurt Nandini? Parth isn’t even her son biologically!

Let’s see how this is handled tonight because Nandini’s response is as of yet unknown to us. Besides the writers are high most of the time and I don’t trust them to know the canon of S1. They forgot Bhoomi!
