The only and the funniest part I remember is, Rani humming some song in her thick irritating voice inside a church and then suddenly singing in Lata's voice

Also sabse bada bakwas to Raj tha. Dude saw Tina & automatically went like she's the one, the love of my life but the moment Pooja sang their song 🙄, he totally took a U-turn like what kind of feelings you had for Tina then, when you were being all touchy feely with her. Even if he had an emo bond with Pooja where he bonded with her through letters, when he met her, during his stay in India, he didn't feel a thing for her beyond friendship, didn't feel any familiarity which he should have felt, beyond the fact that Tina was different than the letters, because she was.

Rohan should have proposed Tina. Both are good people. Deserved better than whatever Pooja & Rohan were.

I feel validated because I hate Pooja more than any other character I can remember. I don’t understand how they thought anyone was going to root for such a character.

Yeah saari galti Pooja ki thi. She looked and sounded matured but was too dumb. Raj was an idiot too. First he thinks the gal who sent him all those emails is Teena and flirts with her. When he realizes it was Pooja and not Teena he tells oh but I was in love with the gal who sent those emails so that was you so I am in love with you. 🤡🤪 I wish the ultimate twist in the end would have been Raj realizing he actually fell in love with Teena and marries her happily. 😅

So it flopped? Very good

I am happy they didn't make money over it

I have read many books on similar themes where FL shares letters with ML under name of their sister or friends

Pooja and Raj claim to know each other because of letters and Raj was surprised that she deceived him? And Pooja thought the man would reject her once he knows about the truth

Doesn't it mean that those letters weren't a substitute of their real personalities? They clearly didn't know each other, in fact, Pooja thought Raj was a pathetic human being then what did she love?

pooja was the villain of the movie, she decided to write those letters to raj pretending to be tina, tina had no idea that pooja was doing that for so many years. And then pooja wanted tina to lie to raj and say that she wrote the letters and eventually tina fell in love with raj. Pooja was a highly insecure and stupid person and used others to try to cover her stupidities.

Raj was also such a stupid and shallow character, he was completely into tina for her looks, he literally walks past pooja in their first meeting and goes to tina. And i never understood how he completely shifts his feelings from tina to pooja by finding out pooja wrote the letters, he wasn't attracted to her in any way before that, its such a silly film.

I don't know how they ended the movie with tina forgiving them, If i was tina i would never forgive either of them, they were literally on cheating her

She was definitely the villain for me too, extremely toxic individual who didnt care beyond her image and her complexes

I can understand that a child felt bad for someone and replied, we all have replied for our brothers and friends but we dont lie that life for decades

And after creating a mess, she involved Tina in it then she blamed Raj for not recognizing her and said "Tina is so beautiful" and projected all the anger towards her and became a victim in his life

After that suar Raj was passive aggressive chomu towards Tina, poor girl had lost everything in her life and this man was continuously goading her while cheating on her with Pooja

I don't understand so many things here, it just felt like they piled on someone who didn't have an anchor in her life and they knew she wouldn't move because that'd mean she'd lose whatever links she had

This one they messed up too

There's a book on similar theme one of my favorites and ML is at war and he finds solace in letters sent by a woman but he doesn't know that it was FL

When he goes back home, he is attracted to FL, he doesn't know anything, he didn't even talk about letters, he was just attracted to her and they had their own new story apart from those letters

When he met the girl, he thought had sent him letters, he didnt feel a thing and he went home to his sister in law demanding to know the truth because he knew they were deceiving him as he felt nothing for her

That was way before truth was revealed to him

Pooja is being called toxic because she was

1 Lets separate child from an adult, when she was a child she did something but she carried it on for years into adulthood

Then she actively deceived her friend with whom she has a bond, what bond allows one to do this? Then she involved her another friend in it

2 She was toxic to Raj - She expected him to know she was writing letters when she was catfishing him? That's victim blaming lol

How will he know it was her?

Then she forced him to marry a woman he didn't love, not caring about his life

3 She was toxic to Tina - First she involved Tina in the mess, used Tina's beauty to constantly gain sympathy from Raj and others

After her first lie blunder with Tina towards Raj, she created the same mess with Raj towards Tina

She told Tina she doesn't have to tell Raj the truth and live the lie, knowing very well that Raj knows the truth and is hostile towards Tina

What kind of person does this?

She was playing with their lives because of her own insecurities and complexes
