Singer Priya Patidar is finally getting the love and attention she waited years for after singing the title track of the upcoming Bollywood film Welcome to the Jungle. After spending many years working hard and staying patient, Priya’s journey is now inspiring many young dreamers who want to make it big in music.
Talking about the difficult years before success, Priya shared, “In this industry, patience is everything, and that patience teaches you a lot. What kept me motivated was the fact that I’ve always been doing what I truly love since childhood, and I’m grateful that my family and loved ones supported my dream. For me, success, hit songs, and recognition are all like the cherry on the cake. Even when something doesn’t work out, it still becomes a learning experience. What truly matters is that I’m living the life I always wanted and doing what I’m passionate about. I never doubted myself or considered choosing another career path. I always believed that if something wasn’t happening today, it would happen tomorrow, but it would happen for sure.”
Through her words, Priya shows how her love for music and strong belief in herself kept her going through every difficult phase. For her, the journey and happiness of doing what she loves always mattered more than quick success.

Speaking about working on a film with stars she admired while growing up, Priya said, “I’ve always been a huge fan of Akshay Kumar, and after watching Namastey London, I felt that one day I wanted to sing in one of his films. I’m still not over his performance in that movie. I also admire Raveena Tandon. Growing up, I used to copy her from the song Shehar Ki Ladki, doing her modelling poses in front of my parents while they laughed endlessly. It’s one of my favourite childhood memories. All of this makes the song even more special for me, especially watching Akshay sir dance and Raveena ma’am perform and lip-sync to it on screen.”
This experience became deeply emotional for Priya because the stars she once admired as a child are now connected to one of the biggest moments of her career.

Priya also spoke about the support she received from her parents and shared, “I feel grateful to my parents for always supporting and encouraging me. They never told me that this is a difficult industry or suggested that I choose another career path. Instead, they supported my dream and sent me to Mumbai as a teenager, even though we had no contacts in the industry and no relatives in the city. Sending their child alone to Mumbai to pursue a dream in Bollywood was a huge act of trust, and I will always be thankful for that. I’m grateful that I’ve always been able to live up to that trust and never let it break.”
Their support became Priya’s biggest strength during her journey. Today, as her voice reaches millions through a big Bollywood project, Priya Patidar’s story stands as a beautiful example of patience, belief, family support, and never giving up on dreams.
