Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira learns about Armaan’s tumor; he admits his fear of leaving the world

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira requests the nurse to allow her to meet Doctor Mehra. However, the nurse informs her that Mehra has already left the hospital. This leaves Abhira anxious as she starts worrying about the medical reports. She repeatedly asks the nurse for Rajeev’s contact number or Armaan’s report, but the nurse firmly refuses to cooperate. Left with no option, Abhira outsmarts the nurse and manages to take the keys of Mehra’s cabin. She then decides to secretly go inside the cabin to find Armaan’s report.

Meanwhile, at a café, the waiter informs Armaan that they are about to shut for the day. Armaan requests some more time, explaining that he is not ready to return home yet. Understanding his request, the waiter allows him to stay longer. At the same time, Abhira finally comes across Armaan’s medical report and is shocked to discover that he has a tumor. She is unable to accept what she has just read and refuses to believe the diagnosis.

Both Abhira and Armaan are deeply shaken by the situation, even though neither fully expresses it in front of the other. Abhira breaks down emotionally, overwhelmed by the thought of Armaan’s illness. Soon, Armaan notices Abhira nearby. Trying to hide her emotions, Abhira quickly lies that she was searching for her earring. Both of them struggle to hold back their tears and pretend everything is normal. They eventually share an emotional conversation where Armaan admits that he is not ready to leave Abhira, Maira, and Mukti behind. Abhira also confesses that she feels the same and cannot imagine life without him. Armaan then asks her if everything will be fine, but Abhira honestly says that she does not know the answer.

On the other side, Vidya learns that Madhav has lost his job. Madhav feels broken and tells Vidya that he is of no use now. He expresses his disappointment, saying that the family who once respected him will now only feel pity for him. Vidya tries her best to lift his spirits and encourage him not to lose hope.

Later, Abhira asks Armaan if she can sleep in his room. Armaan hesitates, reminding her that Kaveri might get upset. Abhira clarifies that she will sleep on the sofa instead. When Armaan questions her reason, Abhira struggles to tell him the truth—that she just wants to stay close when the report comes out and support him. Instead, she says she simply wants to wake up seeing his face. Armaan responds emotionally, saying he wishes for the same.

Elsewhere, Krish mentions that Disha has a condition that makes her return to her parental home frequently. He asks Kaveri to keep an eye on her. Aryan objects, accusing Krish of trying to manipulate Kaveri. He further reveals that Damayanti had planned to file a defamation case against Armaan and Abhira, but Disha went to calm her down. Kaveri warns Aryan that Disha should be brought back soon, as she cannot keep staying at her parental home repeatedly.

Abhira and Armaan both remain tense, thinking about the hidden report. Before Armaan can find out the truth, Maira and Mukti interrupt them with their constant arguments. The two children begin fighting again, and Abhira and Armaan ask them to stop. Maira then asks Armaan to braid her hair. Armaan gently tells her that she should learn to do it herself because he will not always be around. This statement shocks Abhira deeply. Maira and Mukti immediately respond that they will not let him go anywhere.

Later, Vidya decides to take Madhav away from the city to help him recover emotionally. Before leaving, she asks Abhira to take care of Armaan in her absence. Abhira requests Vidya to pray at Dwarkadhish for Armaan’s health. Vidya assures her that she will do so. Armaan, meanwhile, tells Abhira that he has a client meeting and tries to avoid her joining him. But Abhira insists on coming along.

Armaan then indirectly asks Abhira if she already knows the truth. The moment becomes emotional as both struggle with their feelings. Armaan expresses that he wants to stay with Abhira forever. The episode ends on an emotional note.
