Reasonably speaking nobody wants to go to court. Not only is it long and expensive but its not good for your reputation as an actor or as a studio. More importantly, financial disputes could trigger official audits when the court demands receipts of the last 3 years from Excel.

A lawsuit will be filed in the next 3 months. They'll come to a settlement out of court. Most likely some financial compensation and a cut in Pralay, which I believe is Singh's home production because I don't think the "Standard" Money + "Work in a future project" will work for Farhan. I don't think he ever wants to work with Singh again.

The long term effects of these would be a lot more severe for both parties though. Lots of goodwill lost.

i'm pretty sure he has been advised by his legal team about the long term consequences, and if thats what ranveer accepts then thats his decision.

We have had articles about the peace deals ranveer has offered to farhan, farhan doesn't want to settle on anything else except for 45 crs, so ranveer has tried to settle this out of court but it has not worked, so now it will be settled in court if they don't come to another agreement

Farhan also has to give a bit of compromise if it is to be settled out of court, it can't just be ranveer trying to negotiate and farhan just stuck on the 45 crs, because that is not working. 45 crs is not a small amount

A massive Lawsuit is coming, make no mistake, these are just the precursors that any Judge requires you to take.

Fathan has done all of the above, as he'll have to show the court if he expects to recover his losses. He's sent Scammer Singh letters, he's tried negotiating in good faith, he's tried alternative solutions, he's tried getting arbitration in the form of Producers Guild & FWICE. Nothing has worked, he's being ignored by Scammer Singh. The only alternative now will be to file a civil suite. Incoming!!!

It's a foregone conclusion that Farhan won't get all of the 45 Cr. But an offer of 10 Cr is quite insulting. Ideally, he should be paid enough to pay back his own creditors like Amazon and Excel can eat the rest of the loss.

Thank you for admitting 45 Cr is not a small amount. This is what Farhan had been saying all along while his detractors ask him to "let it go".

While this is easily the most Pricey dispute in Bollywood, it's nothing new. Paresh Rawal was recently forced to return to Hera Pheri. Sara Ali Khan was sued for 5 Crs because she messed up her dates. Govinda has been sued many times for "Coming late" even.

Hollywood has seen many of these cases with the actor either doing another film for the studio or paying damages. You just don't get to leave and cause Pre-production damages. The studio ALWAYS wins in these cases.

lets see what happens, i just hope it all gets sorted and they can leave this behind themselves, i am sure both farhan and ranveer want this to be over and done with
