So I'm combining yesterday and today, both of which were excellent episodes.

• Some lines really stood out - Yashika telling DK that Vik will enter their life & he will definitely make place in Dua's life. Because she knows, he will. That is how Vikrant is or he was , before Vishakha happened. It's really hard to not like him.
• Mannat's regret at not even considering his wish was done beautifully. And her stopping DK, from wiping out her khoon bhari maang! But i was so sad to see her hesitate to tell him, that she wanted it there, she just said she would wipe it off herself. So wary to tell your best friend, your deepest thought about your love ?? Interesting.
• After eons, a peek of the OG Manvik who could talk to each other. Vik saying with a weak smile, that he is already a baap, & or him saying bhagwan Bhala kare usska jisne mujhe maara. Their reunion was truly heartfelt and has to be seen to enjoy. Mannat's relief at being able to talk freely about her feelings.
• Was glad Ronnie was able to explain the concept of Devki & Yashoda to Dua. It is easy to play around with Dua now, she is in that state of mind, she needs her mother to give her security!
• Today's episode - the Manvik scene was fab. it was good to see a calm, secure Vikrant despite not having anything with him. Just the thought that Mannat loves him makes him happy. And the fact that he has a daughter makes him happy. What a growth in the character if they manage to keep it?
• Mannat told him how their life was, & the regret he had, but he knows he can't undo any of it. Noone can. Something that most ITV post leap couples miss out on - the feeling of happiness that they have a child together, at least Manvik celebrated for a few minutes, 7 years later. A nice touch.
• DK overhears Vik saying Dua can have two fathers ! And he collapses. I am sorry but why?? What is wrong if Dua get so much love from two fathers? Why does he want no contact of Dua with Vikrant?? I am not able to understand. yes, he is insecure. But this was inevitable at some point, Dua would have to know. Or was he planning to never tell her? is it more about control over Dua?? i am not even adding Mannat here because poor Dhairya he kows Mannat loves Vikrant. And he suffers.
• Most people can probably see that DK is fond of mannat; even Vikrant asked her if he would be ok with Vik in Mannat's life. But Mannat trusts DK blindly and is quite sure of their relationship dynamics.
• Mannat giving DK the right to choose their way forward, seems fine, right thing since they have taken all decisions together. And keeping Dua's well being in mind.
• But Ronnie telling DK, he has more importance in Dua's life than Mannat?? She is Dua's mother!!
• Now DK is above even Dua's mother? I don't agree with that. Mannat has also taken care of Rotu like a daughter; worked hard to bring in money post Dua turning one. Mannat was running a food stall, and catering business to support her family!! She wasn't his daughter, nor his daughter in law! Shouldn't he be protective of Mannat? Itna kya hai ki he needs to make DK feel good?? I felt terrible for Mannat.

All in all, the way things are, I am not getting a great feeling about this wedding.

So I'm reading so much about DK's DDP.

If everyone had been so patient with Vikrant pre leap, maybe things would not have been so bad. He was the one who was lied to about his identity about this identity. There - I have said it.

Point is, both Vikrant and Mannat have been used and abused by their birth moms. Dhairya who is Vishakha's son, and Vik's brother has also been used and thrown by his mother. All three of them have had traumatic experiences!

Now things are changing. It is time for the family to get together; a family that was torn apart so badly and so cruelly by ARS & Vishakha. The family getting together with focus on Dua. One of the ways to get the family will get together is they work on Dua's acceptance.

I don't get it, even as a story, doesn't anyone want the family to get together?? Doesn't Dhairya want the love of his brother? And live a life with him. His main aim in life pre leap was his brother Aman.

If everyone goes their own way, the story ends.

Sure! I agree to all of it. I also dont understand why DK's loss is any smaller? Dont see him as PL or side character. See him from Dua's pov. When people can give long rope to ML, why cant they give some time for DK's DDP? Thats my question. Vik and Mannat can act out of emotions but not DK? they can feel insecure but not DK? why so much dehumanization of DK? If DK is vik's brother and he has to understand his pain, Vik is DK's brother and also ML(should be superior by definition), he should show much more patience and acceptance that DK right?

Actually they are showing Vik with restraint now. He lost everything...that is the starting of his redemption. They should keep it up. He has to show all the good qualities now to shine OVER DK. Patience, acceptance, love, compassion and autonomy...naturally DK will fade away. Such an ML will not want Dua to be separated or erased from DK's life. He will happily give Dua, his brothers name. He will truly become ML in every sense. Vik's pain and loss is actually good for his own character growth.

Actually, that baba ji girl on X made one nice point about both mannat and DK. Usually in real life, people dont OVER involve in other's life. DK SHOULD have known his boundaries, Mannat should have kept him away...thats where "contract"/"deal" will have to be explicitely spoken about. That will keep them away from over stepping the boundaries....While mannat kept that boundaries with herself, DK respected them as well... there are no such boundaries defined on the child. May be making him uncle from day one would have helped?

How can a child love or engage someone with boundaries? How can a person NOT love a new born child and become part of her journey? That is difficult for sure. One thing the writers here handled sensibly is dua-dk relationship. Ifff DK did all this just to get mannat, then it is totally wrong. But it is the opposite way, thats why I think he is wanting mannat as a passage to have Dua. If he sits and thinks, he will understand that...may be that is happening now once his fears are removed, he will not have problem letting go mannat. Actually the writers are doing good job here to my surprise.

Can someone tell me, how come nobody is bringing up YashVik angle? Just because Yashika Vikrant broke up, its gone and dusted? We got tortured with their rasams for all these weeks only for them to act like Yashika wasn't Vikrant's fianceè or girlfriend, just a casual friend? Neither Mannat is bringing it up nor Dua who was quite excited for Mr. Saluja's wedding? Is this all because they knew they went too far with that angle, destroyed ML's image so now gotta act like it didn't happen at all?

The divorce papers are also forgotten now... when it was such a big part of Mannats heartbreak 🤦‍♀️

Yeah they never bothered how vik is treating yashika. people wanted him to forget yashika and treat her badly..which he kind of did by ignoring her like a mosquito. We start on a clean slate. He atleast told her outside that court that he cant love her and hugged her. He still thinks she is a great person. So there are high chances of listening to her advice.
