Rule of thumb, big business houses don’t make announcements about investments on a sinking ship. If they make announcements, they can even save a sinking ship.
Adani is into the ports business, wanna bet he knows what a treasure trove he has at his hands via Bengal and if he can get Chittagong too how can that be a game changer for the region and him in particular?
When big businesses want to expand they fund the right people, when big businesses want to destroy, they fund the wrong people.
Given the government we have now both at the centre and in states in the northeast, the kind of vision they have for the country, we know which side of the coin they fall on in this regard. The fact that those who could’ve had deeper pockets are now themselves embroiled in a mess of their own making as we are rising tells you everything.
