Thank you. Kabhi kabhi jab continuously kachra padhne ke baad bohot irritation feel hota hai aur kuch bolne ka bohot zyada mann karta hai, tab hi iss tarah ki feedbacks aati hai meri taraf se. Aajkal, normally comments karne ke liye bhi mujhe bohot sochna padhta hai, iss wajah se laziness aa gayi hai mujh mein toh ab comments bohot kam hi karti hoon, bas padhti rehti hoon.

Waise aaj mera bhi mann hai long ranting karne ka...so, here it is.

At present, the stories in wattpad are based mostly on dark, obsessive, manipulative, psycho lead/s (one of the ML/FL, or, both the leads); forceful marriage & intimacy, where FL/ML too eventually is accepting & allowing themselves to get assaulted & hurt repeatedly, both physically, mentally & emotionally. It looks like, both the writers & the characters have an obsession & fascination for these kinds of obsessive, forceful, dark, psycho type love and romance (although, I personally don't, can't & won't ever consider it love).

And, most of the readers of the present time are liking, supporting, & voting for these contents. Mentality of people are going down the drain with each passing day. Writing ke naam pe writers aajkal readers ko kachra serve kar rahe hai aur most of the readers willingly kachra hi enjoy & appreciate karte huye nazar aa rahe hai.

Besides, most of the writers' are turning out to be students in real life & they are still immature enough to have a very poor knowledge of how the real & practical world runs & how certain things like - narcissism, toxic relationships, body shaming, s**t shaming, ragging, bullying, negative social media trolling, emotional blackmailing & manipulations, mental & physical harassments, rape & sexual assaults, forceful marriages & marital rapes, going through the toxic, harsh, belittling & insulting words on your face everyday, horribly affect the lives of the women in all over the world for good. Either, they don't really know, or, they know, but still don't want to accept the fact that, jo bhi mann mein aaye wahi likh dene se hi koi bhi easily achha writer ban nahi jayega.

Moreover, they have poor storage of English, Urdu, Hindi vocabularies as well as they don't have much knowledge of how to use the words of any language lucidly, gracefully & with correct word, spelling, grammar, syntax & sentence formation styles. Then, the writers must know about how to write, edit & present their thought with respect & dignity before the readers, how to experiment & write by combining different writing styles & fonts. They just casually put a note, either in the start or, in the last of a chapter of the stories, telling the readers to ignore their grammatical, spelling, any kinds of mistakes, as they don't get enough time for revising & editing the chapters before publishing it.

Along with these, we can pick another trending fashion, which is - not emphasizing on the detailing of the gradual depth, growth & improvement of the characters in from the start to end, from a situation to another situation, rather they remain busy in making graphics based characters' aesthetics, adding lots of mature scenes frequently, creating reels based promotional videos for their stories.

I know the fact that graphics & videos can help the readers in visualizing the story in their heads. But, sometimes, I feel like, they don't even know there’s a word in literary world called "imagery", which means the use of vivid, descriptive, narrative language that appeals to the five senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) to create mental images, evoke emotions, or convey, mood, tone, and complex ideas by frequently utilizing literary devices, like - metaphors, similes, personification and so on to deepen reader immersion. It can really act as an effective "showing" technique instead of "telling" the stories with pics & videos.

Also, more than the structural criticism, they want to get the appreciation through the targeted sets of votes & comments. Again, most of the readers & writers don't actually know & not even try to understand what the structural criticism means, they define it as the negative comments. Aur phir kuch log toh aise bhi hai ki jaise sara din online mein active reh kar sirf har jagah hate mails & messages, cruelly negative & bullying comments spread karke paisa kamate hai.

I guess, these writers think that writer banna koi bohot hi aasan kaam hai jaise ki koi andhere mein teer chodne ke baad sochne lagta hai ki ekdum sahi nishane pe jaake hi lagega woh teer. Padhke appreciate karne layek acche write-ups ki bohot kami hai aajkal, aise readers ki bhi kami hai jo write-ups ko sahi maino mein criticize kar sake, aur usse bhi zyada kami hai aise writers ki, jo mixed with both negative & positive points yet structural criticism ko dil se positively accept, acknowledge & appreciate kar paye & usske hisab se apne writing mein visible changes la paye.

laziess se zyada sochna padta hai writer ko bura laga, writing chod di to. i think it happned to me woh guilt rehta hai. bt to me your reply was firm, encouraging and critised nicely. i hope that person takes the feedback. if not kya hi kar sakte hai

these kinda books i hate it, sometimes read when highly reviewed, if i came across reels or i am in that mood to read sex. majorty these books are so bp raising. the publishing books are shit and wattpad ones are stretched

because kachra har jagah hai. man mein story mein movie serials mein to used to hogaye hai. i dont really shame readers bt sometime i think kitne writers hai mehnat krke reels banate hai, they make aesthetic edits, mehnat se bina AI k books likhte hai. beautiful command in hindi english, resarch krte hai. votes nhi milta. its so unfair. aur india mein sex sells. kuch bh likho ganda wala sex story with donimating men female audience will lap it up

THIS^^ also they write what they see. end of the day if someones original content isnt getting views woh banda yehi ghisa pita rape sex wale stories mein jayega, like the one we read ysterday where man growling at rando people and his care comes like psychosis

they dont lol bare minimum they write and readers read. and you cant point it out cause jaisa hai chalne do, if you dont like dont read etc. how stupid. writers want feedback, bt not too harsh.

my ongoing fandoms- quite old and dying has such bad writing, and this would include myself too. recent times i dont feel like writing. bt atlst kumkum bhagya side of fandom still bringing fantastic writing. i read 1 story where husband wife separated and guy had mental breakdown, how he overcame it and got toether with wife. what a beautiful writing, it flows like poetry, you feel for all characters, writing is simple but not silly. beautiful heartwrenching story

also can i say your command of english is so well, in case you ever feel like writing 1 reader is here

'imagery reminded me back in the day my fav write used to write ariya story. as a running joke between me and one of my friends, the writer would write 2 paagraphs on a red curtain, and my friend was like this is a damn curtain, get over it so there was that extreme description era. and now its like 'x and y had sex against wall' which wall, what color, was it cool or hot, didnt matter

Loved your points, you're absolutely correct...Also want to add that, Writers likhna chod na de aisi guilty feeling ke saath saath yeh darr bhi hoti hai ki writers/fandoms ki support/against mein baki ki readers group mein na baant jaye aur phir kahi fandom wars ki tarah writers ke fans ke bich mein bhi words ki jung shuru ho gaya toh usski bhi guilt/blame gaming alag se. Jaise Ariya/Arakshi & ZDMN, YRKKH & aur bhi bohot saare shows ke fandoms ya fanfics writers ke fan groups mein hote hue aksar dekha hai humne.

@bold - I'm taking that as a complement, and that coming from you was really an unexpected surprise for me. Waise kahi baar socha tha likhne ka, but as you say it frequently, most of the time mind mein shuru ho kar wahi khatam ho jata hai, mere saath bhi wahi hota hai, sab kuch apne mind tak hi limited.

Regarding, command over English, meri soch yeh hai ki mujhme shayed sach mein hi woh as a naturally God-gifted ke taur pe mili hai, touchwood!!! English always meri favourite subject thi, school & college mein, phir maine apni graduation English Literature mein aur post grad. ELT mein ki hai.

Par dimag mein kabhi kabhi bohot saare thoughts aata hai, kabhi kuch bhi aisa nahi aata jo un thoughts ko complete karta ho, phir bich mein latak ke reh jaate hai. Kabhi na kabhi likhke hi nikal na padhega mujhe inn thoughts ko, nahi toh zindegi bhar khatak ta hi rahega shayed.

Koi nhi. Idea kabhi pura nhi ate. Tab story ko stop krdo jabtak idea nhi ata. You would do well in English and hindi
