The truth about VV is that whatever she has is not really hers. It all belongs to someone else ie Shivani. Shivani is the Poddars DIL, she is Madhav Sa’s legal wife, she is is everyone’s Bahu or jethanisa or bhabhisa, she is Armaan’s mom, Abhira’s MIL and Maira’s Dadi. Vidya is the one who took it all from her and still acts like it all belongs to her. Madhav Sa and VV married when Shivani was still alive but Madhav believed she was dead. They never divorced by any means therefore Shivani died as Madhav’s wife after her son was 30+. Madhav knew illegally marrying VV was a mistake. That’s why there is no indication that they ever married again. For once at least they should give Shivani her rightful status. In EK shows when characters like VV are exposed, neither the family members nor the leads look back at such characters or even give them same respect like VV gets. It’s looks like Armaan’s hate for her is already melting. Plus in EK shows the line is clearly drawn between the evil stepmothers like Vidya and actual mom characters. Swarna was at least legally married to Manish and they fell in love after marriage. Same with Parag and Khyati. Plus these step moms did raise their husband’s daughters like their own and did try their best to be the ideal mothers for their stepsons to the point of abandoning their own biological sons. When their sons died, they had valid crash outs as someone could have informed them in due time to stop this. Plus Swarna had learnt her lesson. Then they replaced her with an immortal namesake who felt more like Manish’s GF than a mother or a mother in law or a grandma. Even both Surekhas had more prominence than her. She kinda was a bit negative as Badi Maa in Gen 4 but at least even that was somewhat valid as Akshu was an awful person. She did come around in the end like Dadisa and Ruhi did. Also Manjiri crash out about Neil’s death was also valid but then she messed up big time by saying how hard it is to have a step child. Maybe crash out was about the babies dying all along. At least she got her comeuppance. Her son died. Her grandson doesn’t even use her surname. Her step granddaughter is no longer in touch with her. Everyone she cared for left her. Meanwhile VV is happily spewing hate and venom in Poddar house. The fact I hated Manjiri but love Ami Trivedi but I hate Vidya and also Shruti Ulfat too. She has always played these vile characters. My grandma used to watch Jamai Raja and she would ping pony between being an angelic mother to being a proto-VV all the time and that show had ML on front and centre instead of the FL. She wasn’t even the main stereotypical saas character as in this show it was FL’s mom DD. Unlike that ping pong character, DD actually had character development and became a better mother who did came to love her son in law too. She was so likeable and such a baddie. God FLs need more baddie moms in ITV like her. While here Shruti’s character was unlikeable at the end. When she acted sweet, it felt fake and annoying. Plus her character truly felt like a villain in her son’s life and her son did actually love his wife. In Naamkaran she was similar to VV but she was the bio mom. In fact she would openly ally herself with vamps and she was hateable there too. Now as VV she is a monster but they have clearly written her as Abhira’s villain than Armaan’s when her actions towards Armaan during his childhood show him as his villain.
