When TMC was not in power they used to support maoists to carry out terror attacks. After they came to power maoists attack reduced because TMC didn't want their image to get impacted. Now that they have nothing to lose, they will want to hurt the people who didn't elect them to power

Oh he will do that. Just make sure someone else acts as the frontman. I mean, would Yogi and Sarma have been able to do as much in their respective areas if they didn’t have complete freedom from the top?

Modi is playing global chess and thus he has to play a certain way. He doesn’t even have the time or the necessity to do domestic chess, that’s for Shah. Shah would not hesitate and if you noticed, there’s a reason why Patnaik lost Odissa and more than that, why Paltu Kumar was made to shift from Bihar as CM despite an alliance weeks before the Bengal election. BJP knew they would win, they had made an airtight plan and taken as many steps as they could. Their cadre was better managed and they were able to complete the SIR despite the hurdles thrown their way.

There’s a bigger game going on here. Notice how the entire North East has practically come under the BJP or NDA. We are gonna solve that chicken’s neck in the future at some point. The BJP is ensuring all the pieces are in place before they go for the kill because they can’t afford to lose that one shot and it can’t be compromised by any regional leaders interfering. But any claims or acquisitions cannot happen without Bengal itself being fortified.

They knew that they will need to take some really harsh steps, the harshest perhaps and thus the deployment of CAPF on such scale, the decision that has been announced by the home ministry of their stay for 2 months post polls can be modified and extended for as long as they need. Shah had his eyes on Naxals and man kept his word and delivered on the same within a timeline he had in mind. His eye is now on the thorium belt of India, you can’t tell me otherwise. He will wipe it clean and make what he did to the Naxals look like he was being nice in comparison, because these people are genuinely that vicious and need that treatment.

Modi isn’t playing nice because he wants to, but because he’s playing a long game wherein he doesn’t have to be seen as the only dangerous man in the party who can be eliminated and whose fall is seen as the fall and decline of BJP as well. He’s building up men who will make him look practically like a benevolent sage in comparison just like Vajpayee and Advani built him and Shah up. If it’s seen as if he’s the only one doing all these things then the party itself is seen as vulnerable. I mean, already there are plenty of people who win by association alone and his image but not necessarily on their own. He knows that as well obviously. So we are seeing him groom Yogi, Sarma, Annamalai, Fadnavis, Adhikari probably for West Bengal. That’s a pattern and that’s a man with a vision who wants it executed and knows he must have a whole bunch of people ready to execute it because he may not live long enough to witness it actually happen but if he wants it to happen even after he’s gone, he can’t be seen as the only man who knew how to do the job.

Perfectly said.... People often say modiji has become saint like or secular but they forget this is a well played chess move by BJP. They know modi is the PM (face) of india so he cannot openly appear anti one community or overly pro one community because it would not be good for the country’s image on global stage. But the leaders who are in the grooming phase to become modi’s successors are already projecting themselves strongly toward hindutva, whether its yogi ji, himanta biswa sarma, or maybe even suvendu, because he too has been making stronger and stronger statements lately. These things actually make such leaders massively popular among BJP’s core voter base. This is BJP’s recipe for creating the perfect future PM.

Once one of them takes the throne, he will likely follow the footsteps of modiji and vajpayee ji and become more balanced and secular in approach, while another younger batch of leaders who openly favor hindu interests from the beginning will rise and gain mass popularity among core voters. At the same time, smart strategists like fadnavis or annamalai may take the role amit shah currently plays and become the home minister of india while handling BJP’s larger political strategy.

BJP’s machinery is simply too strong and works extremely well in the long run. What im saying may not resonate with some people here, but modi is the face of a much larger ideological project which is hindutvawadi india and this project runs on a two engine system: one is RSS and the other is BJP. BJP is like the frontend of the engine, while RSS is the backend. Modi is the driver and the face of the engine.

It works in three repeated steps: first comes the wound, second comes awakened consciousness and third comes political repair. First, a wound is created. Then RSS comes into play, where they unite hindus through an awakened consciousness centered around hindu identity. The third stage is political repair, where the consolidation created in step two helps BJP win elections. Thats how the entire engine of this larger hindutva project functions.

India went through centuries of foreign invasions for nearly a thousand years, and the reasons were simple: the lack of hindu unity and secularism of hindus. This created a deep wound in hindu identity. That wound, which should have been healed after independence and partition, continued because of the nature of indian secularism. And that is where this larger hindutvawadi india project comes into the picture, driven through the combined system of RSS and BJP. Each plays its role in synchronization.

A recent example of how this engine work was WB. The wound was what bengal experienced under TMC rule. The second stage was the consolidation of hindus because of that dissatisfaction and the third stage was BJP’s victory on 4th May.

Honestly speaking, BJP could have intervened much earlier in bengal but they waited patiently to gain power democratically so that the opposition could not later accuse them of dictatorship. If the centre had intervened aggressively earlier, it could have turned into a direct centre vs state conflict and BJP might have become the villain in the eyes of the average bengali just for trying to act like a dictator.

Also, there would likely have been much greater violence unleashed in a centre vs state conflict by the TMC government if the centre had intervened earlier, so BJP waited for the greater good of WB. They chose to wait and form the government through democracy.

One more thing is, until there is a wound, hindus never unite. They probably would not have voted for BJP and thrown out TMC if not for that wound.

Coming back to the main point, this project is much larger and longer term. Today modiji is the face of it, tomorrow someone else will take that place but the cycle will continue.

Btw, im not saying this hindutvawadi india is actually anti islam or anti christianity or against any religion. Its more about protecting hindus because hinduism doesnt revolve around proselytization or expansion through aggressive means. So hinduism (including all dharmic religions like jainism, buddhism and sikhism here) becomes vulnerable in front of other religions that operate with a much stronger conversion driven approach. So, from this perspective, the movement is seen more as an effort to preserve and protect dharmic religions rather than oppose others.

This was just one aspect of the project that i explained but there are many other goals as well, such as making india a developed nation with the vision of a developed india by 2047, making the country strong enough that no one can bully india, keeping enemies like china and pakistan in check, securing the borders from bangladesh, and keeping infiltrators away.

Other political parties dont have their own ideology or aims thats why they will keep being minor players in the game of BJP. (And BJP will never let congress collapse because BJP is in power mostly because congress is in the opposition. If congress collapses today, a vacuum will be created and a new party will take its place. People who want change may end up making that new party much bigger than expected and who knows what will be actual goals of that party. So its in BJP's interest that congress remains safe and functional until BJP achieves all its goals.)
