It would be so fun if due to Jalandhar, Neil doesn’t reach the Venue by the muhurat (and we know that everyone isn’t going to find out about Arya’s real identity or whatever kand he did in his past just yet so the chances of Neil not reaching the venue are very high) And Jhende steps up and marries Simran to save her family ki izzat and reputation and stuff like that. Because we all know there is no way Simran is leaving the show (since she is Anu’s best friend and confidant and also in all versions of tstt Simran has played an important role during the punar Janam track and the pregnancy track ) and if she is to marry Neil and go to US, how is she supposed to be a part of the show. Whatever happens I don’t think the marriage would happen. That’s the only way Simran would stay back in the show

This is so true. The one thing I like about Anu’s character is her financial independence that she refuses to forgo despite getting a ring from Arya(by the way, what happened to the ring?). The one thing that I absolutely love about Anu was before anything before any love. She wanted to start earning money to support her parents. Simran’s household is a financial mess, her father is not around . Her uncle is supporting their house, and this girl is not even looking for a job. technically she doesn’t even have to look for a job anymore. She can just ask Arya to give her one, and she would get one. God knows she is qualified.

The thing that always helped me, accept Anu and Arya’s relation was the fact that Anu had already started a job. She had started seeing the world. And then she fell in love with Arya. The girl was not confined to her house or her Mohalla anymore. So I am more willing to believe that she made a genuine decision about her life. Simran has hardly seen the world beyond that Mohalla and she has no real world experience, not even as much as Anu has. it just feels like this was the first guy she ever talk to that didn’t belong to her restricted and confined world, and fell in love with him.

These two episodes, with Simran constantly repeating ki meri duniya yeh mohalla,meri family Aur Sharma family hai. Maine duniya main iske alawa Kuch nahi dekha. Got me thinking of the highlighted point in the post that I made a few days ago. I am not a huge fan of Neil at all but even apart from that Simran’s life trajectory feels like jumping from one cage to another.

Especially with anu saying that Simran has always been a topper and in general, good at other stuff, makes me even more disturbed about the fact that she didn’t even consider pursuing a career like the focus of her life was marriage. Aur usmein bhi itne jaldi saare decisions le liye.

I really hope ki Simran air Neil ki shaadi na ho 🤞🤞
