Interesting time to be back to writing updates . He said, she said, tu tu main main.

• Manvik talk continuation. Too short as usual. But they do have an understanding with each other; that Dua will not / should not be troubled or confused at this point. Mannat rightly asks; what will they tell her; will she understand? Vik agrees, but he is obviously devastated, and he cries on her lap. Mannat also cries; but her objective is to keep Dua safe from all the mess the adults have created.
• Ronnie is furious with Neetu. Neetu tells him she did not tell Vik it was DK who told him. Ronnie is shocked! !DK is standing at the window; like a 60's style tragic hero, with tears in his eyes. he tells Neetu; he is afraid of losing his daughter; so what is wrong if he is insecure! At this point, DK seems to be the only one who is allowed to have any feelings. Mannat to khair chod hi do; noone cares about her anyway.
• DK adds that he will allow Vikrant to be part of his family. This triggers Neetu. She tells him; this is Vikrant's family. Mannat is Vikrant's love, Dua is Vikrant's daughter. Who is he to give 'permission' to Vikrant? DK tells her clearly; he will fight for his daughter, he will not lose. Ronnie says he will never talk to Neetu. Neetu breaks down, but she promises herself she will return Vik's family to him.
• Mall & Y are wondering what is going on. Malla gives Yashika one bit of info that Neetu used to hate Mannat at one point. Am sure Neetu will use Yashika.
• Like i said, only DK is allowed to feel bad. DuA and Bunty are playing a game, but Dua is feeling bad, becasue her Baba is feeling bad. She is unhappy because she saw DK upset. y comes there & tries to find out but the kids don't give her any info.
• Vik sees the kids; & starts walking towards them, he bumps into DK. DK tells him very clearly; that he should stay away from Dua. Once again, he recollects Dua's childhood; she used to get nightmares, he used to hold her; and tells Vik, everything Dua is is because of his upbringing; so Vik can't walk in last minute and take her away. All correct from his POV. And he gets very good dialogues.
• Vik patiently listens to him; and then tells him he cannot stop him from meeting Dua. DK needs to accept that Vik is her father. Mannat hears the last part ; and storms in. She is in total panic. She tells him only she as Dua's mother will take decisions for Dua. DK hears this; & feels bad (hmm, like I said, only DK has feelings). Vik agrees with Mannat; but he insists that he also has rights. Mannat tells him off; saying he drew the lines earlier; and he should not cross it. Which is also right. Vik threw away his rights; when he walked off in the middle of the pheras (this is me)
• She is in a total panic; becasue he mentions legally; she says he is threatening them legally.
• Interestingly, she talks about property papers not divorce papers!! How??
• Dear Jassi and co: Since it was Malla who gave the divorce papers; as an audience are we to forget that divorce papers were given at all?? Because whatever Malla does is supposed to be forgotten. Yuvi is not even around in scenes now.

• I am not rooting for Vikrant here. He has a long way to go to redeem himself in front of Mannat. He has a long way to go before she can trust him to put her interests in mind; her interests also means automatically Dua; because Dua is a minor. Vik took baby steps when he acknowledged his role in the mess, and accepted that his anger messed up his life; & he lost his family. Even in the precap, he did not seem convinced by Neetu. But I am sure multiple factors will make him file for custody; if at all he does. But the question is; will he let go of Yashika? Does he plan to bring up his child alongwith Malla, who has constantly posed a danger to Mannat? What is his plan?

• However, I am observing DK's language change, depending on who is in front of him. He justified his insecurity today. But why is he insecure? Ronnie is with him, Mannat is with him, Dua herself worships him. He doesn't trust mannat, despite her constantly telling him Dua is his daughter; and she has also told him repeatedly she will never give Vik fatherly rights. What is the problem in allowing Vikrant to meet Dua? Did he not tell Dua that' & did he not tell Neetu that? Then why does he warn Vikrant to stay away? Most important, why does he look shocked when Mannat says only she will decide? Mannat is Dua's mother. DK is not the sole parent.

• According to me, it is now clear Ronnie has never forgiven Vikrant, despite the hug and dance etc & that is ok, he has the right to feel humiliated for life. But he was the one who said they should not hide from Dua; and make the same mistake they made with Vikrant by hiding from him. Forget Vikrant's rights. It is Dua's right too. When children are adopted in India, by law, the child has to be told about his/her biological parents. Even if the child wants to meet the bio parents; the adopted parents have to let go.

What I think is, Mannat, Ronnie and Dk all three are working as per the biggest misunderstanding of the pre leap, that Vikrant abandoned Dua, denied her rights, even Mannat's from his life and pushed them both away. Him not trying to look for them for 7 long years further insists their mu. Post leap too they all saw he has a new woman in his life and he is all set to start a new chapter with her. Now suddenly he wants to make a comeback in Dua's life and to some extent Mannat's life whom he himself pushed away once, after realising that he was wrong pre leap about Vishakha.

Mannat is traumatized and scarred due to that one fateful day. It will take a long time to heal her. Ronnie thinks Mannat and his son's relationship wasn't good and it has become a burden on Mannat which he wants her to let go. DK has his own different insecurities and I guess he is more terrified because he can sense both Dua, Mannat's pull towards Vikrant, thats why he tries to keep Vikrant in his limits.

Not underestimating DK's insecurities but since last 2-3 episodes he has been playing mind games probably to gauge the possible outcome specially in front of Vikrant.

In front of RoTu he said today he wants Vikrant to become part of family again while in next few minutes he dominantly tries to overpower Vikrant & warns him that he will not allow him to snatch Dua away even though Vikrant did not utter a single word...the whole thing is quite diabolical now from his end...

DK is not at all like Malla harming people but his mind games is somewhat inching towards Malla's matlab sweetly bolna kuch aur hai & karna kuch karna aur hi haii (Not sure if this can be attributed to insecurity related to Dua)....

Also, the thing is that while whole SM is aware of Malla's antics till now (& more will be out of closet) no one has much idea about DK's behavioural pattern.

Vikrant was anyways separated from him in their childhood & Mannat has only seen one side of him in these 7 years - the ever sacrificing, selfless & ever supportive friend & most importantly Dua's Baba. Even Ronnie has seen the same. So DK has put up a good act as of now so there is no chance that Ronnie or Mannat will get any doubt regarding this. (I am using the word 'act' now bcz of his sudden change otherwise I wouldn't have)

Only Neetu wasn't aware since she was mostly bedridden but then she is also quite selfish...& her statements & actions just like DK can be different too....

DK’s behaviour patterns are quite similar to Neetu’s. Preleap, Vish’s entry triggered Neetu’s panic attacks again, she knew the truth but chose not to accept it. Post-leap, DK initially seemed more accepting of the fact that Vik is dua’s father and might return someday and claim her and he’s living his life with his family…however, as soon as Vik re-entered their lives, DK’s insecurities resurfaced. His earlier acceptance was replaced by a rigid belief that dua belongs only to him, not Vikrant. Since then, his behaviour has becomes unstable, fluctuating with situations and people.. he’s loosing his mental sanity…His repeated emphasis on the sacrifices he has made feels more like self-reassurance than something meant for others. He believes that his emotional investment gives him a right over these relationships, superseding Vikrant’s place. His possessiveness towards dua is just like Neetu’s for Vik, both struggle to accept that the child they raised with love is not biologically theirs. In today’s episode, DK claims to love Vik as his blood relation, yet he is unable to give him space in his life because he now sees him as a threat. His actions toward Vikrant is not out of hatred but more from a denial, an inability to accept Vik’s connection to dua and his role in her life.

DK appears to be emotionally overwhelmed, dealing with conflicting feelings at the same time. He knows Vik shares a blood bond with Dua, and seeing Vik quickly grow close to her reaching the same emotional space DK holds intensifies his insecurity. At this point, it feels likely that DK may be manipulated by the vamps, especially Neetu, who continues to influence situations negatively. She clearly hasn’t learned her lesson, despite the damage already caused to Mannat and Dua’s lives. In this show, except for the vamps, everyone seems easily influenced and that’s the writers doing😂 sab ke sab kaan ke kache hai…adha suna and react karte and khud hi dhamaka karke rote hai😜 vamps toh bus aag lagati hai😂😂
