Her mother was mortified hearing this. She knew I wouldn't be lying about this because I loved her to bits and would never do that, but she was rendered speechless about it and pacified me with a very few words. What else could she do for me.

yeah i used to be like that when i had delivered my 2nd baby, functioning with not even 2 hours of sleep.

See, I have three modes. One mode is when I am living with my parents and I am not working... I can compete with a panda and win. smiley36

Second mode is when I am living with my parents but I am working... I can be responsible, do household chores and do a job.

My third mode is the mother mode when I am with my niece. I almost relieve my sister of all motherly duties, take up the charge. I'll entertain that kid, will do her potty cleaning, bathing, changing, food, sleep and everything else that comes along, I sleep on extra alert mode and her every twist and turn will wake me up. I can function on a 15 minute nap too.

So, I'm basically a chameleon and adapt as per the need. Touchwood. For now I am able to do so. May Allah bless me with the same adaptability forever.
