Comparing footfalls across different eras like it’s a fair 1:1 is already flawed. Ticket pricing, screen count, population reach, and viewing habits have all changed massively since Baahubali
Also, higher ticket prices don’t magically guarantee higher collections footfalls still matter, and 4 cr people showing up today, in the OTT era, is huge in itself
And if ‘universal appreciation = footfalls doubling’, then by that logic even many big blockbusters post-2010 aren’t “universally loved” either
At the end of the day, you’re still proving the film has massive reach just trying hard to downplay it because it didn’t match a once-in-a-generation benchmark. Not every blockbuster needs to replicate Baahubali or Gadar to be huge
Numbers don’t matter to numbers are inflated to footfalls don’t match… the goalpost keeps moving. Nah, this is fcking hilarious and the cope is fcking insane atp🤣 Just say you don’t like the film and move on lmao
What happen? Now don't compare with those biggies excuse has arrived?
Bahubali 2 is just 9 years old film, not 100 years old for which you need ERA excuse. Phir you jump on OTT Era? I mean do you even had any 1 parameter where you can say yes this is bigger than those biggies?
I never said inflated numbers, I said Inflated Ticket Price, which they keep so high that these numbers came in such short time of just 21 days. If Hype was real, Content had weight, then what prompted them to raise Ticket Price so high?
Inflated Ticket prices were for 2 weeks, in 2nd week, collection couldn't even touch 50% of 1st week, despite having high ticket rates, coz Audience didn't turned up in that much numbers.
