Comparing footfalls across different eras like it’s a fair 1:1 is already flawed. Ticket pricing, screen count, population reach, and viewing habits have all changed massively since Baahubali

Also, higher ticket prices don’t magically guarantee higher collections footfalls still matter, and 4 cr people showing up today, in the OTT era, is huge in itself

And if ‘universal appreciation = footfalls doubling’, then by that logic even many big blockbusters post-2010 aren’t “universally loved” either

At the end of the day, you’re still proving the film has massive reach just trying hard to downplay it because it didn’t match a once-in-a-generation benchmark. Not every blockbuster needs to replicate Baahubali or Gadar to be huge

Numbers don’t matter to numbers are inflated to footfalls don’t match… the goalpost keeps moving. Nah, this is fcking hilarious and the cope is fcking insane atp🤣 Just say you don’t like the film and move on lmao

What happen? Now don't compare with those biggies excuse has arrived?

Bahubali 2 is just 9 years old film, not 100 years old for which you need ERA excuse. Phir you jump on OTT Era? I mean do you even had any 1 parameter where you can say yes this is bigger than those biggies?

I never said inflated numbers, I said Inflated Ticket Price, which they keep so high that these numbers came in such short time of just 21 days. If Hype was real, Content had weight, then what prompted them to raise Ticket Price so high?

Inflated Ticket prices were for 2 weeks, in 2nd week, collection couldn't even touch 50% of 1st week, despite having high ticket rates, coz Audience didn't turned up in that much numbers.

It's a testament of people's immense love and appreciation for this groundbreaking movie that they bought such high priced tickets week after week and went in droves to see this movie. My colleague went with her entire family (family of 5-6 members) (when the ticket price was 550 inr) for 2 days...she's strictly an ott person btw. But for Dhurandhar, she was ready to throw all her love (and money). The way common people loved this movie has been unseen in a long long time and likely to not be seen again for a long time. Face it.

Waise, ticket sasti ho to koi bhi chala jata hai kuch bhi backwaas movie dekhne smiley17

If someone gives me free ticket of any YRF garbage verse movies , I will throw that in gutter and walk away. smiley2

Nuf said ! Bish! You can't pay me to watch that 💩 !

Pushpa 2 tickets sold for 800 900 rs. and no that doesn't take away from it's box office achievement. Same for Dhurandhar and any other movie. Because it is another level of power flex to make people give up on that cash because of their love and adoration for an honest world class level art piece that showed true face of a cult as it is. Truth is like sunlight. It has the power to vanquish all darkness of lies and taquiya ( deceit ) and all. You can cry against it. But you can't win against it.

One parameter? You mean the one you chose 😭

Box office isn’t judged on a single metric it’s a mix of reach, revenue, trends, overseas performance, and recovery. By your logic, anything that doesn’t match Baahubali footfalls isn’t big, which is ridiculous because that’s literally a once in a generation outlier

And calling 4 cr footfalls ‘low’ in today’s era with OTT, shorter theatrical windows, and way more content options, actually proves the opposite people still showed up in massive numbers

As for ticket pricing if high prices alone worked, every big film would be doing 800–1000 cr in 3 weeks. They don’t. Sustained collections still need demand period

Week 2 drops happen to almost every film after a huge opening that’s not ‘rejection’, that’s how front loaded blockbusters behave today. Fyi still earned more than the movies that are above dhurandhar atm in second week

Atp, you’re not proving the film isn’t big you’re just proving it didn’t break your chosen benchmark. Not matching an anomaly like Baahubali ≠ not successful. It's just you're having a massive cope. Again just say you didn’t like it and move on lmao
