Vasundhara has made her hatred for Prerna clear ever since Prerna entered the Kothari House. Even when Prerna wanted to leave with Upmaa and go to Kachrakunj, Choti Upmaa requested her to stay back in the Kothari House, and Upmaa agreed without thinking twice. That was a foolish decision. Upmaa should never have allowed Prerna to stay, especially when Malicious Mahi was already desperate to create cracks in Choti Upmaa and Phaltu Prem’s wedding.

Prerna should be sent out of the Kothari House immediately. But no one should be shocked if Vasundhara goes a step further and decides to get Phaltu Prem married to Prerna, simply to satisfy her obsession with seeing Phaltu Prem become a father.

PS: It is almost satisfying to see Upmaa being humiliated yet again by Vasundhara. After all, Upmaa’s presence seems to bring nothing but trouble to everyone around her. Just ask Sruthi — who gave up her career for Majboor and Choti Upmaa, only to receive betrayal from Majboor in return.

So a young mother like Prarthana is killed off so that UpMaaa can go from par-dadi to AnuMaaaa. While fossil TamaShahs are kept relevant leap after leap. They should rename the show to Anupamaaaaa- permanent TamaShah maid.

The real tragic hero of this pathetic show is Upmaa’s best son, Samar. Despite the miserable parenting of #AnuRaj, they simply got lucky with him. Samar had a genuine passion for dance. Even though Vanar had hated Samar since his childhood, Upmaa still had the audacity to give him the certificate of being a “Baccho Ke Acche Pita.” The hypocrisy could not have been clearer.

If Samar had been allowed to pursue his passion seriously, he could have become a choreographer in films and built something meaningful with his talent. “Anupama Dance Academy” was Samar’s gift to Upmaa. It was his dream, his effort, and his attempt to create something of his own. But the writers chose the most senseless and lazy route — they killed Samar just before the five - year leap. A character with real passion and potential was reduced to nothing more than Upmaa’s shadow. In the end, Samar lived as Upmaa’s shadow and died as Upmaa’s shadow.

The writers did the same with Dumpy. She too was killed towards the end of the Niraasa Bhavan track, just a few months after her third wedding to Titu. Titu himself was eventually reduced to yet another obedient servant of TamaShah's after marrying Dumpy.

What is truly shocking is that this pathetic show still manages to rule the TRP charts despite a steady fall in viewership. The writers have completely abandoned the very idea of women’s empowerment. What remains now is an empty story built on endless hypocrisy.

Upmaa had a painful marriage with Vanar. Yet while divorcing him, she proudly said, “Ek kaagaz ke tukde se rishta nahi toottha.” This absurd line explains why Upmaa still continues to serve Gutter - mouth Jhuli and Dhongi Dukhmukh even decades after divorcing Vanar.

On the other hand, her marriage with Majboor was supposed to be her second chance at true love. But to him she casually said, “Iss rishte ka expiry date aa gayi hain Kapadia Ji.”

These two dialogues expose Upmaa’s hypocrisy perfectly. A marriage that brought her nothing but pain is treated as something sacred and beyond paper. But a marriage that was supposed to be a second chance at love is reduced to a temporary arrangement with an expiry date.

Despite all the leaps the show has taken, Upmaa has not changed even one bit. The writers clearly seem to have run out of ideas. At this point, the most sensible decision would be to take the show off air rather than continue dragging it without any direction.
