The innings began cautiously, but everything changed when captain Alyssa Healy and Georgia Voll put together a dominant 100-run partnership. In her final ODI, Healy played a legendary knock of 158, scoring her last 50 runs in just 16 balls to give the crowd a perfect farewell. Georgia Voll made a solid 68 before Beth Mooney took over, smashing a brilliant century, her sixth in ODIs to keep the pressure on the bowlers. It was a very tough day for India on the field, as several dropped catches and misfields allowed the ball to roll away for easy boundaries. While Sneh Rana and Shree Charani managed to pick up two wickets each, every Indian bowler struggled to stop the runs from flowing. India now face a mountain to climb to win this match, and we will be back shortly for the start of the chase.
