Jason Holder to Sompal Kami, FOUR, 100 up for Nepal and the crowd is right behind them. Short and wide outside off, Sompal Kami gets under the ball and slashes it over cover. Few bounces and into the fence

Holder to Airee, OUT

Pinpoint silence in the stands, Airee has holed out! Change of angle does the trick for Holder. Fuller length ball angling in on the stumps, plays the slog stroke towards long on, the bat face rotates and does not get quite hold of it, picks out the safe hands of Powell, who had to cover a few yards in to complete the catch.

Round of applause to Dipendra.smiley32

Nepal found themselves in early trouble after being sent in to bat by the West Indies, losing three wickets in a powerplay that scored just 22 runs; the lowest of this tournament so far. The collapse continued as a fourth wicket fell immediately after the powerplay, with the West Indian pacers finding variable bounce and seam movement to rattle the top order. By the 11th over, Nepal were reeling at 46/5, yet the fans in the stands never stopped their vocal support. Airee fought a lone battle for much of the innings before being joined by Kami, who shifted the momentum by smashing three consecutive boundaries off Jason Holder in the 18th over. Airee then brought the crowd to their feet by clearing the ropes twice in the penultimate over to reach his half-century. He eventually departed in the final over for a hard-fought 58, becoming only the second Nepalese player to score a fifty in a T20 World Cup. Kami finished unbeaten on 26 from 15 balls to help set a respectable target. The West Indies bowlers were clinical, led by Holder's four-wicket haul. Matthew Forde was particularly impressive with the new ball, bowling his four overs straight through and conceding only 10 runs for his single wicket. We will be back after a short break for the chase.

Matthew Forde: When I first got to the ground, there was a bit of moisture in the outfield, so I immediately said to a couple of my teammates, 'well, I think that it's gonna do a bit more today in the pitch because there's a bit of moisture in the ground.' (Bowling four overs on the trot) Yeah, for me personally, the team lets me to bowl my overs upfront, just to get them out of the way. So, yeah, if there's anything in the surface, you can guarantee that it's four up front. (On his celebrappeal after trapping Rohit Paudel lbw) I was a big fan of Stuart Broad. I used to watch him a lot as a kid, so, you know, that's where I got it from. It's something that just comes naturally, I've been doing it from youth cricket. (Happy with the score?) Yeah, if we turned up to the ground and our asked us if we wanted to restrict Nepal for 130, I think we would take that any given day.

West Indies Innings

5.3 Yadav to King, OUT

Chips it to mid-on! Short of a length ball pitching outside off, makes room outside leg and swings his bat at it, toe-ends the ball and gifts a regulation catch to Bhurtel in the mid-on area at the edge of the circle.
