This is where I get confused, why the writers cannot allot a friend character to Vikrant, I mean a true friend

At one point I thought Sammy would be like Shalini, but alas 
now the new PA , they can use his character, but noooo. Their only focus pre/post leap get all women around Vikrant, maybe in their convoluted minds this is kinky and I am not understanding 😆
