Welcoming you all to the "Round 3" of Republic Rhythms: Aazadi Quest – Season 2.

In this round, we tickle your movie bone..

Please read and understand the rules carefully before sending your answers.

There will be 10 Movie snippets or picts labeled from Q1 to Q10. For each question, each of those indicate an important event in Indian History or is related to Indian history. You need to identify that event. The event name and time of it is mandatory and only then it will be considered a correct answer. For recent event try to be more specific like month/date. for older ones, especially in the BCE the decade will do

Each correct answer awards you +20 points. You can win additional 10 points if you identify the movie correctly

There would be negative marking of 5 points for each incorrect identified event. Movie names even if wrong won't cost you any point

You could ask for hints for at max 2 questions

Queries regarding specific questions will not be entertained.

Discussing or seeking help from other participants or non-participants of IF while the round is live is strictly prohibited. If found, it will lead to disqualification.

Answers must be submitted via PM to me and subject line should be " Round 3 :Answers".

Deadline for submission of Round 3 answers is February 3, 10 PM IST.

This surely was the most toughest round of this season as the pics were so vague. Unless people have watched all these movies its very difficult to tell what's going on in those scenes. If there ars few who still got all of them correct hats off to them.

actually in most i tried to keep the scene which defines that event

like in Jalianwalaa Bagh the police one side and people in other mostly Punjabis

Chauri chaura policemen seeing the crowd with fire torch

Poorna Swaraj if you zoom the pic, it clearly states 1929 Congress Lahore session

also a lot could be checked in internet/AI

but yes it was tough for other questions. like Mauryan Selucus war was completely vague that's why I didn't make asking for hints risky in any way for this round

I had a very hard time finding answers for 1 and 4. others you can google or watch the movies...

Honestly I watched all the patriotic and historical movies from 50s to the latest to find the answers,,, some of the movies I didn't had an idea which exists probably my grandpa would have known..

Hmm some were tough

Most i recognised from Gandhi movie

But rest was vague

Good history topic
