Hai na....Prem in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is peak lovable Ranbir.

There’s something so pure and earnest about that performance..The wide-eyed optimism, the selfless kind of love where he wants her happiness, not his win,the way he balances comedy with genuine hurt without ever becoming loud

Prem could’ve easily been a silly, forgettable rom-com hero but Ranbir gives him heart. I don’t just laugh at Prem, I root for him. Even when he knows he won’t “get the girl,” he stays kind. That softness stays with me.

That’s why Prem works on an emotional level, not just a fun one. It’s the kind of character I remember fondly, like an old friend.

Honestly, Ranbir as Prem is one of those roles that tells me why he clicked so deeply with audiences early in his career, that charm without arrogance, love without entitlement was comfort...

I liked Ranbir's performance in every movie I've watched with him. To the already mentioned I would like to add Jagga Jasoos.

And I agree to that impression:

Honestly imo Ranbir is one of those rare actors where even if the film doesn’t land, his performance almost always does. I can see the effort, the thought, the emotional homework behind every role. ...

Yeah Jagga is a great example where the movie faltered at few places but his performance never once (I like the movie though)....His portrayal as "Jagga" is honestly a technical and emotional flex..very underrated

What I really admire about his portrayal as Jagga is the consistency. In such a tonally risky film, Ranbir never breaks character...not even for a second. No false beats, no “actor showing off.” Just full surrender to the world the film creates. It’s the kind of performance that isn’t loud enough for mass applause or isn’t tragic enough for awards hype. But is immensely skilled and sincere

If Jagga Jasoos had been tighter as a movie or more successful, this performance would have been talked about the way Barfi is.

Also is there anyone who liked Ranbir Kapoor in Rajneeti?

I really liked him there as well...What’s remarkable is the restraint. Samar starts as an observer, almost passive, and slowly hardens..Ranbir charts that moral corrosion with chilling control. He doesn’t try to dominate scenes, instead he absorbs them. And that’s why his transformation feels so powerful. He lets the senior actors have their moments.Yet when the narrative shifts to him, he owns the frame without raising his voice.

And he did that without being swallowed by the veterans..

Saawariya- Agreed the movie was too long and boring but I felt like I am watching a jeeta jaagta novel. Ranbir was good in it and I felt this guy has talent. Though its not one of my favorite movies but loved Rambir in it.

Ajab prem ki gajab kahani- This is surely one of my favorite movies and Ranbir was awesome in the comedy role. I liked RanKat jodi too and was kinda happy when I heard their dating rumors.

Barfii- IMO this was surely the best performance of his career so far. It was not an easy role. He worked really hard and excelled in it.
