Well well well! I would say a great episode today!! Gautam was đŸ”„ today! More than what he said to Tulsi (from his viewpoint he’s right there too), I liked the derogatory way hr sunaoed Mihir today!! - the good thing is that it’s all out in the open!!! Tulsi is very hurt but at least now she knows what’s going on with Gautam!! Not knowing is more emotionally torturous is what I feel! Now that she knows - it does hurt a lot but at least she knows what’s she needs to address! Knowing the problem is the first step to solution

if he loved pari that much he could have understood how Ranvijay has treated her. Why pari has not told anything is her repentance for what she did against tulsi and none cared her what's going in her life. Without tulsi all became like this in life. Rithik too mocked tulsi and committed suicide later got his mother as support again. Gautam too will get his music cleared and understand how tulsi is alone 6 yrs got cheated by mihir he is in his emotions and not thinking of them at all in anger. Once he drops it he will calm down. Karan will be back to recreate the hug again.

They are touching some tracks which are left open then so connecting back thru these kids again.

I’m honestly not sure that I can agree with what Gautam said today.

Yes, it has always been an open truth that Karan is Tulsi’s most emotionally close child - but I don’t see it as “unfair favoritism.” Karan didn’t become her priority just because he was loved more by default. He earned that space in her life through his actions and the kind of son he consistently chose to be.

Tulsi may not have loved Gautam any less, but she definitely relied more on Karan and that reliance wasn’t random. Their characters were written in a way where Karan always remained emotionally reachable and present, even in conflict. He responded to her, he stood by her during major crises, and most importantly, he never treated the relationship like something disposable. Because of that, Tulsi and Karan formed a bond built on trust, responsibility and mutual emotional commitment.

On the other hand, Gautam’s character has always been the opposite - even in Season 1, he repeatedly went against his parents no matter what. A large part of his personality was rooted in ego, resentment, and wanting control, especially when it came to property and entitlement. So when I see him continuing the same narrative now, it doesn’t feel like a sudden “misunderstood son” angle. It feels like the same unresolved mindset carrying forward into Season 2.

Even now, his issue isn’t purely emotional , it’s still deeply tied to property and a sense of “apnapan” that he believes he deserved. But the thing is: apnapan doesn’t come from claiming it, it comes from nurturing it. You don’t build belonging only through rights - you build it through presence, respect, and effort from both sides.

If Gautam truly felt abandoned, then it’s fair to ask: did he ever make himself reachable?

Why didn’t he answer his parents’ calls?

Why didn’t he reach out to them when he was in need?

Because relationships don’t work only when one person keeps trying - if you consistently shut the door and then later complain that nobody entered, it doesn’t sound like injustice, it sounds like self-created distance.

And another thing , Gautam claims Tulsi would have fought tooth and nail if Karan didn’t call her. But honestly, that comparison itself is flawed, because Karan always responds to her. Tulsi’s confidence in Karan comes from the fact that he has never emotionally disappeared from her life.

If Karan had distanced himself the way Gautam did , if he had ignored her calls, cut contact, stayed cold and unreachable - then yes, maybe Tulsi would initially panic. But over time, even a mother adapts to the reality that someone is choosing distance. She might eventually assume he’s okay and stop forcing herself into his life, because there’s only so much a person can do when they’re constantly pushed away.

So Gautam blaming Tulsi for not doing enough doesn’t sit well with me, because it ignores a very basic truth: Karan and Tulsi share mutual emotional effort, whereas Gautam only brings complaints and demands.

In Season 1, Gautam was not portrayed as a reliable son. He was often selfish, impulsive, and driven by entitlement. Now in Season 2, for him to accuse the family of not reaching him while he himself didn’t reach out - it feels inconsistent and hypocritical. He wants to be treated like Karan, but he has never behaved like Karan.

And that’s why, to me, his argument doesn’t feel genuine or emotionally convincing. It feels more like jealousy and entitlement disguised as emotional pain and it’s hard to sympathize with that when his own actions have repeatedly broken the relationship he’s now demanding back.

I agree with everything you said .. to reinforce, Karan was the only son available and going out of the way for her when she needed the most support!! When Mihir cheated on her the second time, no one stood by her like Karan did!! He came to shantiniketan in rage only to sunao mihir and then told tulsi she’s coming with him to USA- nothing doing!!
