Even then, Karan here has to be younger than Gautam, that is he has to be at max 42 now. since Gautam was born while Mihir was still in coma. if he has an 24 years son then he should have had him at 18(justifying that with a thought that Karan was born and brought up in Australia and was an Australian citizen so he didn't need to wait till 21 to get married.

However now this revelation that Parth was already a child passed his toddler age when Ba died makes things more complicated.

Ba as per the first episode died 25 years back (maybe they wanted to show respect to season 1 which started 25 years back). Then it Parth was even 3(that's a very small age to understand complicated things as property distribution but considering he was extra brilliant), he needs to be 28 pre leap and hence 34 now...

So by this timeline Karan had him when he was at max 8?? Is that even biologically possible even if they had bal vivah..

Aside now Pari saying that Mihir Tulsi adopted them when they had grand children. Now Mandira was younger sister of Anupam, are we to assume that Anupam was having children when his younger sister was having grand children? Aside if Karan was an adult by then, why didn't Anupam think of making Karan their legal gaurdian? he was biologically closer to these three

No. She never asked them once to wear sarees only.

This was more of an offscreen financial decision than an onscreen verdict. It initially started out for showcasing how Indian women were traditionally inclined in the way that they would naturally make that transition.

However later it stuck because Kyunki got so popular that saree manufacturers started sending their products to the set for all the women, as did artificial jewellery and accessories makers. They knew the show was being watched by women like crazy and they saw a business opportunity and took it.

They met with Nim Sood and Shobha Kapoor directly as well as Ekta to talk about their offer. The plan was simple - women on the show would wear their products only. The PH would simply need to inform them in advance when they required heavy outfits and jewellery for their wedding sequences and other events or festival related sequences.

Balaji would ensure that the pieces were well maintained and use as wide a variety as possible. They could even return the pieces provided they were not damaged else the amount would be paid off by them.

That’s how you got all these sarees for Tulsi, Prerna, Parvati, Kashish that were a rage. Aamna, who played Kashish also mostly wore dresses even post her marriages in the show (AND SHE HAD FIVE MARRIAGES TO FOUR DIFFERENT MEN!) I remember her suits, her jhumkis and her bangle sets were so good and so popular among young women that they would be sold out almost immediately after stocking! Aamna is a fashion designer herself so she worked on those designs per her interviews with Nim and since Ekta thought they looked fresh and the popularity was so high they let her wear whatever she designed.

Aamna legit had the best suits on the whole channel as Kashish, perhaps the best on Indian TV as a whole because they looked so, so good. She also wore colours that were unique somewhat and as a fashion designer herself she knew what looked good on her and what didn’t work for her. She kickstarted the trend of the kurta of a salwar suit being short too. Initially those used to be at least till the knees but she wore hers about an inch or two above her knees and my god did that become an instant rage especially among teens and young women. This suit she wore, I think it’s the scene where they finally confess that they love each other and it was insanely popular! There were in fact replicas of it too in different colour combinations if this one didn’t appeal to you, work for you or well.. was sold out before you got to the store!

Not just the suit… the song - Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai became so famous- AFTER no one cared about it when it was pictured on Sohail Khan and Sameera Reddy that it became known as the Sujal Kashish song. It was caller tune, ringtone… you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing it in Mumbai at least. If not courtesy of a phone, you heard it at your home or in the auto as the rickshaw driver played it too

Komolika and Kashish were style icons in their own rights.

We aren’t.. but the writers are! We even remember that Abhishek was in prison for being an accomplice in Vishal’s murder and Shobha would never address him as Pati Dev or Pati Parmeshwar in this lifetime but they made her do that!

They even forgot that Shobha’s daughter with Abhishek was called Pari! They used that name here for a new character that was not even a part of S1 canon!

Anupam Kesar had 3 daughters and NONE of them was called Pari! Sharmilee was the oldest iirc, followed by Lajja and then Aparna.

Noina was a trash. Why was Mihir standing like a statue?? Amar wasn’t called for shooting yesterday when everyone was, so I guess he will be gayab and Tulsi will be shown doing everything. Noina was keep blaming Tulsi when doesn’t that apply to Mihir too?? Makers showed them or Tulsi saying she tried to call Gautam a few times but couldn’t get in touch with him. So she or Mihir just then never checked up on him for years? That doesn’t make sense.

They didn’t even know he was in India for the last 3-4 years. They forgot about their own son and didn’t try to find out where he was when they couldn’t get in touch with him?? Noina was saying it’s because she has too many children. May be Gautam is upset because of this or this is one of the reasons why he’s upset because they forgot about their own children and started taking care of their adopted children?? My grandparents had 11 children and they knew all of their whereabouts despite the children living in different countries. Tulsi or makers giving her reasons to her about calling Gautam and then never looking for him didn’t make sense. That makes TuHir bad parents and Hermant a bad uncle. Gautam has been living alone for 3 years. So he doesn’t have a wife and children?? I felt bad for him. It was sad to see him all alone in dark
