Neetu is an impossible character whom I can never like

After seeing the last 2 weeks episodes I want Ronnie to flip and Neetu to EB into flipping him. This way Mannat can see what a huge mistake she did by supporting these 2 in their past crimes. As much as I want Vikrant to redeem himself, Mannat has to accept she did a mistake supporting their crimes.

Just to increase the number of episodes, the writers seem unable to hold the story together and even the linking arcs are now vanishing. What was established post leap is being reversed repeatedly, with characters changing their stance and narratives episode after episode. Vik is Dua’s father but has no emotional connection at all, writers failed miserably here. Neetu has suddenly started walking as if she was never bedridden for last 7 years. DK, Mannat, and Vik repeat the same dialogues in every episode. Y is doing exactly what Malla has been doing manipulating Vik by showing fake concern and sympathy. The M and Y meeting is exactly how Malla approached Mannat during her wedding preparations with the same excuses so that she stay away from Vik. At this point, the writing is extremely poor and not making sense. It feels like everyone is saying the same things on a loop every day and the writing team keeps forgetting its own lines. Khichdi ki bhi khichdi ho gayi hai. It’s not about moving the story at jet speed but at least maintaining a workable pace where the narrative doesn’t lose consistency. Right now, it’s confusing and repetitive. I really hope the direction improves and we get to see ManVik in the same frame soon, because at present the story isn’t holding ground at all. They are not even using their USPs.

I feel there are many reasons for drag. One is the time duration, they wanna fill up 45 mins. Second, they might wanna align some major track aka competition with aarambhi show so that our show can do a merger episode with them. Third, i feel they are saving their trump cards for upcoming cricket season. Fourth, indirectly Mukta is addressing the hullabaloo fans have made on social media. People have ranted so much about dk, now she has made him more prominant. People raised fingers over Mannat Dk bond, she is now addressing. Neetu is Mannat fd and Mannat is mukta's writers. From past two episodes, she is making it clear why and how dcp has become so important in indore family's life. I still feel there is more to come as there is the mention of dehradun, dua was born there. Dcp was transferred to Indore pre leap then there must be some connection.

If you ask me, idm much these episodes as i know once they all reach to Mumbai, crimes, cringe and abuse all will be there for Mannat and Dua both. Atleast they are addressing Mannat Dk relationship well.

In the name of cinematic liberty, the writers keep forgetting their own plot. Mannat reveals Neetu’s drugging issue yet everyone refuses to believe it and Neetu herself doesn’t admit anything even when Ronnie repeatedly questions her. This revelation leads to a major Manvik separation but there is no introspection from any character despite such a serious accusation rather story moved to Malla Vik wedding and Aish reveal. Later, during the ManVik wedding track, Vish and Malla’s plotting succeeds and Neetu puts the blame on Mannat and twisted the story to benefit vamps and the final blow happens when vamps disclosed the truth this time in front of Vikrant. There are massive inconsistencies in how this issue should have been addressed versus how it actually was. This is the core problem with Mannat’s writing team that they introduce strong plots and then leave them midway, which ends up changing the entire narrative. The character who exposes the truth for the first time is later shown supporting the opposite stance for various reasons. I’m not even countering those reasons here but the writers failed to protect their leads, and that doesn’t goes well with the audience. I saw Ronnie’s IV where he mentioned that people are liking this two house setup and that it’s getting numbers. This indicates that Mukta is in no mood right now to move towards ManVik togetherness. According to him, Ronnie won’t soften towards Vik for now, he does feel emotional on meeting him but nothing beyond that.

Oh wow so from increased TRP's Mukta took away what she wants rather than what was shown in the episodes where they got higher episodes which is 2 houses setup

Yup their writing teams lack continuity or even common sense the journey of nonsense is unbelievable 🤣

Imagine what led to scam wedding was Vikrant not believing a video of Doctor accepting Neetu is drugging him to Vikrant questioning Mannat how can she support his criminal parents & Neetu drugging him which led to the leap

What I meant was if we feel sympathy for FL due to gender then we give excuses to ML due to same gender.

The point I am trying to make in past few days (which looks like DKs defence to you) is... that currently Vik cant be defended... his actions and his behaviour do not match and in comparison both Mannat and DK look compatible.... so much that there is a population shipping them.

That doesnt mean Vik is not the ML.... he just hasnt had his redemption track started.

And that will happen... for that atleast one truth needs to come out... which the makers are delaying for whatever reason...

I disagree with you on Lost FL being shown right always.... she was systematically degraded right from surrogacy... in a bid to make the PL relevant...

Thankfully Mukta has corrected those mistakes and made Mannat (show) post leap better.

1. Dua is not Saavi... not a child longing for her missing dad which makes Mannat stronger and not weaker.

2. Mannat went and tried to inform Vik about the pregnancy inspite of the humiliation which Sai never did and we never got a reason why...

3. DK is not Jagtap... all credit to SB for making Jaggu redeemed but the loyal audience cant forget that he was her molester and a criminal. DK is not him.

4. Malla is not married to Vik post leap like VP had... thats why they have Y to take her place... but Thankfully not married to her either.

My question was whether if we operate from a gender bias then do we give excuses to ML for this same reason we understand the FL better?

I did not find time to write this ....

DK did not became Duas father on the day of her birth... that happened few months down the line... when the baby is significantly older.... about a year or so...

In that scene... it is kind of hinted that DK is more of a hands on father whereas Mannat is not. This is surprising since we see a very perceptive and alert Mannat now. Much more than DK.

It was not explicitly mentioned but hinted ... what if Mannat did not warm up to the child immediately due to the trauma.... hence DK took that role... isn't this what Shruti feared as well???

Not trying to defend DK either... I was wondering if anyone else felt so for Mannat?
