Ha, ha, I knew that t h i s thread - certainly thought as a celebration thread from Elvis' side - would be taken as another opportunity to bash the makers and the movie. Why don't they keep away with their negative comments (already in abundance during the last three years here in the forum) because for them, there is nothing to celebrate? Instead of coming with a 'birthday cake' they 'throw chapels and eggs'

Here some f a c t s about the movie:

Contrary to the repeated false description of Deepika's role :

- Throughout the whole movie she is an "ex- ISI agent" and only p r e t e n d e d once to work still for ISI ... it is to trap Pathaan into thinking that Pakistan is against what the General iniciated by making her get hold of "Raaktbeej"... she wants getting help from Pathaan who has connections in Russia due to former work there.

- There is no proper "love-story" between Rubai and Pathaan although they got attracted to each other

The idea for a SpyUniverse came with Pathaan as YRF already had made two spy movies with Salman and planned to make one with Hrithik... so Pathaan became the joining point (with Kaabir getting mentioned and Tiger being actively in the movie). ... Pathaan still had Masala elements - like there had been in the Tiger movies and would have (now had) in War. ... However, the tone of the two previous spy movies got changed into a more humanistic one although the initiator of the planned attack is a Pakistani Army officer (a cancer-ridden General who decides to exact vengeance against India and signs a contract with a private terrorist organisation).
