She claimed that two men, “well aged to be grandparents,” misbehaved as she walked towards the stage. “As the event started and I walked towards the stage, uncles and family members put their hands on my waist to click pictures,” she wrote. She added that the men reacted negatively when she asked them to remove their hands.

The actress described another troubling moment on stage, alleging that two men made “lewd remarks showing me lewd hand gestures.” When she requested them to stop, she claimed they began throwing roses at her. Mouni also noted that the stage was elevated, and the men allegedly tried to record her from a low angle. When other attendees intervened, she said the men responded with abusive language.

Expressing her disappointment, Mouni said, “We as actors go to these events to wish the bride and the groom and add to their celebration. We are their guests and they harass us like this. Yuk.”
