Bet you if somebody had told him nearly 3 decades ago he would play a character that would kick start a trend of dead characters coming back to life as a whole nation mourned the death of his fictional character he would’ve laughed at you perhaps.

Tell him in 2025/6 after nearly 2 decades of him quitting the show he would be back on it again playing the same character and dancing on an Iranian song that went viral in India he would call you crazy and then be scared of being in your company

He reminds me of Anil Kapoor and Govinda from those 80s and early 90s family drama we have all seen too many reruns off

These two would invariably have mean parents who threw their grandparents out or who were awful to their bhabhis. Then they married a heroine who would give the mean parents a taste of their own medicine to make them realise their mistakes and repent, while these two just played the henpecked husband too afraid of their wives but who would make sarcastic comments and take digs at their own parents with dialogues usually written by Kader Khan

It’s possible but can take time. The show had to get its footing right and they took their time to do it and are now topping the charts.

I bet if they get more OG cast back particularly Hiten and Gauri while serving drama, they’ll get a further boost in ratings.

Right now we don’t know if they’ve broken even on the initial investment that went into the show or not. Once they do it, there’s bound to be an increase in revenue and then they can perhaps think of getting more OG cast back that’s more expensive and who can deliver ratings too by ensuring that they get to become series regulars again rather than staying as recurring characters.

Throw in a couple of explosive tracks that can get conversations going on again and we have a winner. I think the first truly explosive track which is controversial in a way is almost here. We will see a revival of the fake case thing with Pari getting Ran arrested and now seeking a divorce from him. This is bound to stir a hornet’s nest of sorts because it not only gets the attention back to the concept of women filing fake domestic violence charges against husbands and in-laws affecting genuine victims (Pari now will know what’s it like to be on both sides of that story) as well as a woman getting a divorce from her second husband as well. The twice divorced woman who is a social pariah.

That’s why Noina had those lines recently. We got a glimpse of what Pari is going to face. Previously she was an idiot who didn’t care but now she must as she has a child to think off, any label that sticks to her is bound to be associated with her daughter and affect her too for the rest of her life.

Then we have Hrithik Mittali being on the backburner with their track highlighting how abuse can be mental, emotional, verbal and psychological wherein the victim can be men as well while the women are the abusive partners. The constant pressure on men to be providers combined with such pressures can drive them to suicidal tendencies too.

TuHir have their own conversation starters - right from how to deal with a partner who cheats on you for the second time to if there should be any reconciliation between the two. And even if there’s a reconciliation which it it bound to be (duh) does Tulsi go back to being a homemaker again full time or does she keep her cooperative business running while she simply shuffles between Mumbai and Kutch or somehow she gets to work from Mumbai keeping her travelling minimum owing to age, she simply gets Angad, Pari or one of the girls from Kutch to do the travelling for her.
