We dropped two catches and missed two stumping chances. Very costly mistakes.

Unless NZ also drops catches I can predict the result.

Catches wins matches. Such fielding mistakes are going to cost us a match, if not a series.

Today, our bowling is not as good as earlier, they conceded too many runs in the middle overs!

New Zealand has posted 337/8 -- it's a massive score

New Zealand post 337 on the board in this series-decider. Inserted to bat, they were rocked early. Arshdeep removed Nicholls in the very first over. Harshit Rana, in the very next over, dismissed Conway for the third time in as many innings this series. That brought their top-scorers from the last game together. Mitchell, the in-form batter, got a reprieve on 1 as Kuldeep missed a run-out chance. Rana managed to break the 53-run stand, thanks to a sharp catch to dismiss Young. Phillips joined hands with Mitchell and the former took his time to get going. In fact, it took him 37 balls to collect his first boundary. However, he didn't get flustered and Mitchell - at the other end - went about his business as usual. Apart from the two run-out misses, Mitchell never looked like getting out and he notched up his fourth ODI hundred vs India. Phillips too significantly upped the ante to record a 83-ball hundred. New Zealand, at that point, would have probably eyed a score around 350. Both the centurions were dismissed within a span of 7 deliveries and India managed to keep it tight for a few deliveries. But Captain Bracewell played a little cameo to take his team's total to 337.

Glenn Phillips - Thanks Smithy, appreciated greatly (on being told this was the best he had batted). It's a small ground, the pitch was a bit two-paced, the plan was to put on a partnership and give ourselves a chance. There was a certain stage around the 30th overs where I was a bit edgy, but playing with Mitchell gives you a lot of confidence, he was striking the ball well and that took the pressure off me. But you can take your time in an ODI, take it deeper and then play your shots. We were looking at 280 during the 25th over, they bowled really well in the middle overs, we are happy to take 337. There was a bit in it when Jadeja was bowling (if there was turn), hopefully, we can exploit it and get some turn in the second innings.

Our batters will be under pressure, scoring runs will be difficult.
