i think makers will end in their reunion but i feel kamiyaar couldve used this revelation to make himself better but i guess makers wanted to show that he's fully lost trust in love that all of this change was futile and that trusting someone fully is wrong..his parents are back to square one with their usual kalesh so much that kamiyar had to break the household items...ayra was a rigid character from the start anyhow, so her rutna manana tactics are gonna look foolish to me..
Even her falling in love was half baked because it was highly conditional. He had to measure to a list of requirements and when he showed progress, she accepted him. So there was always only partial trust and she just thought the video showed the true him.
While it is fair to have your own list for a partner, the question is if you can accept a partner with flaws. I think that is the question that hurt Kamiyar because he was instantly dumped and he was not even given an opportunity to defend himself. No one wanted to hear his side or even talk to him. He was labelled as dirty and bad -- basically they just assumed he reset back to his original self. So it was rejection twice.
Basically he as he is not good enough. When he works hard to change, it is still not good enough. He will always be doubted and seen as not good enough. That is the realization that has made him realize that her love for him was just fluff.
So I love that he is rejecting her even though he is struggling and hurting. He has more than enough sense to not only have self-respect but also recognize that her love isn't that great. Basically he loved her more than she loved him. Maybe she found him cute but her love had no steel. Now, Ayra has to do the work to show that her love for him was not something fleeting.
