And yes, I agree with all the points here. That's why I said, Smriti as Tulsi stole the show for me - whether it was her initial shock, or the way she berated Mihir - I loved every bit of it.

Mihir I mentioned because very often we end up bashing characters because of their past actions, and overlook some of their genuine points. So from that POV, Mihir wasn't entirely wrong that Tulsi could have contacted Ritik. But I'm glad that Tulsi answered her right back that even they could have looked for her, which they didn't.

And that's where comes the kids. Yes, none of them tried to search Tulsi and that's why I don't feel any sympathy for them particularly. That's also the reason I don't buy Ritik's nagging because he's ony concerned about his woes. He's still not grasping what made his mother take such a drastic step. So yeah...

I am a little confused about the episode. Why did Tulsi give kinda tanda reaction when she found Rithik in that condition? Is it just me? In comparison, Mihir was shown to be much more concerned when he heard Rithik was in the hospital. Tulsi’s all emotions and anger came out in front of Mihir. It’s like she’s dead inside and all her emotions came in front of him. Also what was her complaining about Mihir not looking for her?? But when it comes to her reaction to Rithik, she was kinda shown this way before leap too. The only child she was shown lots of emotions for was Pari. Later in the episode with Shoba she was then shown being more concerned for Rithik and telling Shoba to take care of him. But precap is so exciting. Good they are showing Mihir taking her back. They should execute this track well

I guess the difference in reactions can be explained by how Tulsi had to be shown thinking quickly on her feet to save Hrithik. If she were panicking or went hysterical or started crying there and then, her responses wouldn’t have been so quick.

It’s basically the difference between being practical and emotional. Practicality demands calm assessment to make rational decisions even when in a rush; emotions overwhelm you and can cause you to panic to the point where you lose precious time that you can’t afford to lose in an emergency like this.

Tulsi in the past has also killed her own son, switched off the life support system of her MIL that eventually killed her. All that is also bound to leave an impact on the psyche and the emotional makeup of a person. It makes you a harder person else you go mad with the guilt, grief and agony of the past.

Mihir has also lived through those experiences but he’s not been the one who had to literally do that job.

Mihir’s emotions are thus much more healthy in comparison.

Also, Mihir and Tulsi have both been suppressing their emotions in the wake of their split in different ways. Mihir was finally allowed to express a modicum of those as he had to rush to the hospital, but he wasn’t dealing with a son whose wrists were slit, whose blood was flowing and where he had to be the one to call for help immediately and then stay in that ambulance likely helping medics if and when required.

I felt it was mom vs dad that Mihir wanted to make husband vs wife in some measure but Tulsi didn’t allow him to take it on that turf.

Given that SN might be crowded with Tulsi bringing her girls, Angad, Vrinda and their kids as well; with Angad perhaps insisting that his in-laws be also brought in to repay their favour and kindness, it wouldn’t surprise me if EVERYONE is sharing rooms because they lack space. As it is they have 2 freeloaders there in waiting in Noyna and Suchitra, so they will be asked to share a room as sisters
