Nice and balanced episode.
Credit definitely goes to Smriti for her brilliant acting. I loved how she showed Mihir the mirror. The best part was when she rightfully called him out on his self-pity crap.
Mihir - as much as I want to hate him, there is some logic to his question also. Keeping aside whether a kid is emotionally strong/weak - they always need their mother. I'm saying this from my personal experience. It's not like we wish our mother will come and save us from everything. We are capable enough. Still, at the end of the day when your mother asks - is everything alright, dear? - That sentence alone makes a world of difference.
Mihir has been a horrible dad, no doubt. But Tulsi could have contacted her kids like she was in touch with Munni, distant yet connected.
Ritik - I think I kind of understand where he's coming from and could almost sympathize but the problem is, he feels entitled that his MOTHER is supposed to be there for him. Even now, he doesn't want to remember last 6 years but he's not willing to understand how hurt his mother was when she saw her husband cheating on her, for the SECOND time. Never thought I would say this, but even Pari made more sense in the previous episode that at least she acknowledges how everyone is responsible for their own actions. Ritik simply doesn't want to accept that because that will make him LOSER in the truest sense.
Parth - Vaishnavi - I'm glad that they established even though she's chirpy, when the situation demands, she has the ability to act appropriately and handle the situation calmly.
In between all these, the one thing that's annoying me is how Tulsi keeps reminding Mihir about accepting Karan for his sake. While it's true, it's also taking away the dignity of their shared bond that goes beyond blood relation. Makers should really consider this.
