Negative PR usually happens either before a movie is released or after it if the movie is a huge success. His movie was a disaster. So yea this is not movie mafia PR. He screwed up. The only other possibility is that he’s pissed off someone and that person is retaliating against him here. But then again, he screwed up and gave them the ammunition.
