When SRK/Excel made place with Raees (already announced for Eid 2016 quite early) to accomodate/make place for YRF and Salman for Sultan, it certainly wasn't because of any insecurity... so why suspect it here...

You have summed it up perfectly..Raees was a weak product..it struggled to make 120cr where as Sultan did 300cr..The makers knew Raees won't stand any chance against Sultan..this is movie business..no one is that generous or nice to move a release date in good will..it is only when you don't have confidence in your own product..so we should not sugarcoat this by any means..the same gesture was done by karu when he moved shehzada for pathaan or when akki moved padman for padmavat..we know we know 🤣

Of course it has to do with the financial aspect... when two big movies clash (big means here big stars) it will always be a loss for both of them (Raees finally clashed with Kabil = Hrithik movie... 'thanks' to Excel politics)... but that has nothing to do with the confidence in the own movie...it's about avoiding mindless 'battles' among colleagues...and Salman-SRK are even friends, equally Aditya and SRK...and it had been Aditya who was asking SRK (kindly). So, exactly t h i s move from SRK's side was anything else than a move of insecurity.

And even the collection numbers are a false comparison as Sultan was a solo release on Eid whereas Raees was a concurrent release with Kabil on Republic Day. (also your numbers aren't right, imo):

Raees Budget: ₹ 92.00 Cr // Raees Verdict: HIT

The Overseas collection also shows that the movie was successful as that gross collection is more than 1/3 of the WW gross and half as much as the India gross collection (which is v e r y rare for Hindi movies)... for Pathaan it was even more (overseas gross = 397,5 cr, India gross = 657,5 cr, WW gross = 1055 cr) which shows the strong position SRK has in overseas... Dhurandhar's overseas (for now) is less than 1/4 of the WW gross (and a bit less than 1/3 relative to the India gross) which isn't bad... it just shows the difference in star power/acceptance/screens.

Brahmastra was suppose to release against Dabangg 3 in end of 2019. Obviously that one didn't happen either

That's what I got when I wanted to send my reply by quoting this "Beginner" with the complete text:

Except the assertion that the fanbase of SRK is - in your opinion - "the worst in the world", I didn't understand your comment (except the straight 'marching')... so it seems to be the reaction of just another "Beginner" who outs him-/herself as another hardcore disliker of what I write respective to SRK

Ah yes, BOI... well, no, I won't check them... if you are happy with them then fine for you and in y o u r mind Raees is only a semi-hit and SRK got frightend by Salman... whatever makes you happy
