In the same roundtable Priya Bapat spoke about this. Accessibility of these actors primarily through serials (and plays too) is a big problem for Marathi cinema. But as Girija Oak-Godbole said, it's a necessity because only serials are a livelihood, Marathi movies don't give that much money and don't even earn so much in box office, to give that much money. So my stand that "malika soda!" is not practically feasible for all unless one is ready to take the risk like Priya Bapat stopped serials long back.

So the harsh truth is, tumhi kitihi veteran aslat tari vahata pani rahanyasathi tumhala malika karavi lagte. Has happened with Nivedita's and Ashok Saraf's recent movies, both were flop. When good film scripts are few and far between, how long can they wait for one?

Now it makes sense to me, why Nivedita, Ashok and all the above people are working in or worked in TV serials, and also chose substandard films in Marathi.

my view all these veterans work in daily soap so they are seen,thy are present on stage n ready to take any offers if movies,plays that may come their way .but sadly marathi cinema s struggling 😢 and whatever few movies that come these veterans don't get to play significant roles there.

I think nivedita was seen in one priya bapat movie but didn't do well i guess.yes tbh can't watch them daily on screen 😢

Both writers and producers need to be blamed for that.

That is very true it is all about bread and butter

folks those have plan B or alternate arrangements of income can decide and follow their choices. But those who do not, they got to work for their livelihood.

I'm against of bashing a person, but people can't even tolerate constructive criticism. I don't bash anyone, I just give constructive criticism in civil still I get blocked. Artist should understand that constructive criticism can improve them in their craft. First I got blocked by Ashwini now I got blocked by Mugdha Chaphekar.

I just want to see a similar scene like OG where tarini interrogates yuvi

here they are fully undercover so it might not possible. i would love that. Yuvi is flying to high he needs reality check

I went back and watched interogation scene again in OG

But daya takes vachan from kaushiki she will bring kedar home n give him his ri8s n she assures daya b4 ur return from hospital kedar will be home .tarini meets kaushilis husband who is reporter n he informs tarini that kaushilis dads news channel / paper had covered news abt the miss happening in the company that tarinis mom was investigating but the news was not out as lot of big names were involved n after that that news channel doomed which kaushiki through her hard work revived.so he suggest u will get info in khandekar house .

That makes sense for setting her a stage to get there. Now he will deny and she would say we would go for mission. It is just a job. I like how they are giving Kedar a screen space with spine. OG Kedar was shown too much emotional and just yes man of Tarini. Even when yuvi questions him Tarini was the one who hits yuvi in father and kaushiki’s presence.

Let’s see how it gets unfold and how long does it take kaushiki to side Tarini.
I so want yuvi to get interogated by Tarini. Plus here he is shown nishi and him too lovey dovey.

But Marathi movies are not good at all.... Half of these movies should never be made in first place. Pachmadhla ekach changla asto and that does good. Even Bollywood mediocre movies are struggling these days. Last 2-3 theater shows I've gone too is bad as well. I went to see Asambhav and that movie is bad as well except Priya Bapat, everyone is bad. Ugach twist anaycha mhanun a kid is shown as a killer te pn ushine tond dabun of a woman 3x his weight🤦

In Marathi new gen actors are bad.... Like BAD.
